Scruffy isn’t just a dog—he’s a team player! At night, he proudly helps carry in the dishes, and we think it’s his favorite “job” around the rescue.

Each ornament on the tree represents an item from our wish list—things that keep our dogs happy, healthy, and comfortable while they wait for their forever homes.

We are so grateful to one of our amazing previous adopters who came back to take Mojito and Bourbon on a fun adventure! 🐶💖 She adopted their sister and wanted to spread the love to her furry siblings.

It’s moments like these that remind us how special our community is. Thank you for giving Mojito and Bourbon a day filled with love, attention, and new experiences—they came back with wagging tails and happy hearts! 🥰

As the temperatures drop, our rescue dogs are spending more time indoors, and they need some extra mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy! 🧠✨ We’re in need of mental enrichment toys to keep them entertained. These could be store-bought puzzles or fun homemade creations—and pre-filled ones are a HUGE bonus!

Here are some simple and effective homemade enrichment ideas:
🦴 Toilet Paper Rolls or Boxes: Hide treats inside and fold or tape the ends shut for a fun sniff-and-destroy activity.
🍴 Frozen Treat Cups: Use silicone molds or plastic cups, layer kibble or treats with water, unsweetened applesauce, or plain yogurt, and freeze!
🎾 Towel Rolls: Roll up treats in an old towel or blanket for a sniff-and-unwrap challenge.
📦 Snuffle Boxes: Fill a box with shredded paper, tennis balls, or crumpled newspaper, and scatter treats inside for dogs to search through.
🧩 Milk Jugs: Drop in kibble or treats, and let the pups knock it around to get the goodies out!

💡 Pro Tip: Pre-fill toys with goodies like peanut butter (xylitol-free!), kibble, or soft treats, and freeze them for extra fun.
