Wow! We just have a hard time believing how rude and thoughtless people have become. First we had problems with people stealing the garbage bags that we store there to the point where they broke the frame now someone is taking their bags full of dog p**p and dropping them into the Porta potty. And folks that are bringing water for their dogs are just leaving empty jugs in the park. We love the park and we love that there is now safe place for dogs to run and play and their owners to socialize but if this continues to happen, it may have to be shut down. if anyone has information on the people that are behaving this way, we would love to hear about it because those memberships can be revoked and everyone else can continue to enjoy the park

Someone brought a keychain and key fob that was found at the dog park to Lake city animal health and wellness center. It is not a dog park fob if you are missing a work fob and can identify the keychain. Please call Lake city animal health and wellness center and come get your fob.

Good morning Members! Hope you all are enjoying the park! Someone called Lake City Animal Clinic today and said there’s poison ivy on the fence. They did not leave their name or number they did not say where in either of the parks what portion of fence. If somebody knows this information, please call, Lake City Animal Clinic and let them know where the poison ivy is located and it will get taken care of, but we are not going to ask somebody to walk that entire fence line to find it  thank you so very much

Huge thank you to Jason and Jennifer , Esterline and Justin Ebey of E Brewing Company for allowing Rudy’s dog park to benefit from their generosity. $611 was raised and donated to our park from two nights of fun bingo, great food and delicious beer. Ozzie and Carla made lots of new human and dog friends too. If you haven’t had the chance to visit this great establishment, you are missing out! Support the businesses that support your park!

Join us this Friday, May 10th for Bingo from 6:30pm-9pm hosted by E Brewing Company! They are located at 8324 E St Rd 14, South Whitley. We hope to see you there! 50 % of proceeds from bingo go to Rudy’s dog park the other 50% goes to one Lucky winner who is there that night! The same event will occur again on May 24 so please if you can’t join us on the 10th come on the 24th

Today, we will be doing a thorough clean up of the dog park. We will be picking up waste and trash and during this time the dog park will remain open. If any members would like to join in our efforts to clean up, we would love to have you! We will be meeting there at noon today, we hope to see you there!

Welcome to our new member, Rudy's Dog Park! Rudy’s Dog Park is a leash-free dog park located on the corner of East County Road 300 North and North County Road 100 East which is located on the outskirts of Warsaw in Kosciusko County, Indiana. The purpose of the park is to provide members a safe, fun environment for their dogs and themselves to socialize and exercise. The vision for the property is that it will be a destination that will foster community interaction with the focus on healthy dog and human interaction and exercise.

The park consists of 2 separate fenced-in areas: one for dogs of all sizes and one for small dogs. Each park has a permanent pavilion and each will have permanent agility equipment.

​The dog park will require all animals to be licensed, well behaved, and up to date on vaccinations. Owners will be charged a nominal annual fee that will allow key fob entry into the park during hours of operation. The hours of operations will be dawn to dusk.

We appreciate your patience as we work on getting the small dog park gate closure fixed! It is still out of commission but we are hoping to have it fixed by Friday. Thank you all for your support and understanding!

Sorry members but the hydraulic piece to the gate on the small dog park has quit working so the gate will not automatically close. due to insurance purposes we must keep that gate locked until it’s in working order. We expect the replacement part this upcoming week and will get it fixed as soon as possible.

We got a good chuckle the other day when we heard people were asking the maintenance gentleman from Lake City animal health and wellness center why they were putting cameras on the dog park. First, we just want to say we could not exist without the help of Lake City animal health and wellness center their maintenance people keep an eye on the park. In fact, they let us know recently that wood Peckers had done damage to the pavilions, which we would not have known otherwise, we are looking into various fixes for that problem. The cameras are being put up by Rudy’s Dog Park. Unfortunately we’ve had people try and vandalize property and we just want to be able to keep a good eye on things when needed.

As you’ve seen, the drive and parking lot have been re-graded and the park is back open! We did notice somebody walking the perimeter of the park with their dogs off leash. We ask that you do not do this is that is not part of the dog park, and that land is leased THANKS!!
