My goal is, quite simply, to help companion animals by educating the humans they interact with. I work with cat and dog owners by providing realistic, tangible advice that best fits their needs and lifestyle. I offer private, one-on-one sessions, day training (where I work with your pet while you are at work!), group classes, and more. I also provide educational services to animal care and control

professionals, professionals who encounter animals in their daily work, community groups, or anyone looking for education on animal behavior and training related information.

Final Pompeii P3: street art, carvings on a wealthy home, a fresco inside a middle class home, tile work and the indoor well of the same home, a bakery oven where bread was found still inside.

Pompeii P2: market stalls lining the streets, a "fast food" counter where food was served from the terracotta pots built into the counter, carved marble above the doors of wealthy homes, archway detail, a casted wooden accordion-style door to a shop that opened by sliding along a track in the stone, stairs in a shop leading up to the owners home on the second floor, public open air gym, public bathing pool, the Forum where socialization, buying, selling, and entertainment took place, an abandoned marble slab indicated they were in the process of renovating something or adding something new.

Pompeii sights P1: original roads: they were always wet and muddy so needed to be paved, wagon wheel marks worn into the stone (the streets were very busy), raised sidewalks to keep feet out of the wet roads, raised "crosswalks" to again keep feet dry (horse feet and wagon wheels went between the stones. marble chips between the stones to act as reflectors so travelers could see the road as they entered the city, original Terra cotta downspouts that directed water through the raised sidewalks and into the roads to keep sidewalks dry, holes in the curbs where there were iron rings to tie your horse while you shopped, free public water fountains that also served as location markers.

day! Bigger than I thought. I can't imagine how scared the animals were that were forced in there. I mean the humans too of course, but at least they understood to a degree. The animals were just captured, shipped across the world and forced in.

The has successfully freed all the Romanian bears tortured for entertainment.... except for Baloo 💔 He's "owned" by a connected and rich person who values money and position above kindness and the authorities are afraid of him. Screw the "Someone should do something / " mentality - DO SOMETHING! It's been 23yrs...Baloo's entire life. I symbolically "adopted" 4bears today - what will you do? Let's help how we can by signing the petition and donating to support the sanctuary's work. Or simply do what Baloo had for happiness today: Nothing. Link in comments.

Bear sanctuary ❤️💔🧸 Mountain View on the way, the type of cage in which most of these rescued bears endured decades of torture and abuse, a bear rescued from behind a bakery, another who is afraid of humans, an orphan, they also have rescued birds, turtles, horses, donkeys, and wolves, a blind girl who walked in circles until her mind was free of the cage, her boyfriend who helped her adjust to freedom, a sign to remind us. Strongly recommend. One of the most remarkable places I've ever been. donate!!

My summary thus far (of course I didn't get to see the whole country so my perspective is limited AND I'm vegetarian).
(rural SW + Berlin):
Favorite thing: the history and friendliness.
Least favorite thing: not a lot of vegetarian food.

(Krakow only):
Favorite: history
Least favorite: pedestrians just stepping into the road without looking or waiting.

(S + Helsinki):
Favorite: natural beauty and p***c bathrooms
Least: food/restaurants

Interesting things I saw in ! Bad Bad Boy sculpture, the fact that Finland was once in the southern hemisphere, a random giant seagull for some reason, a questionably adorable taxidermy (or taxiderpy), an insurance company building covered with creatures, and a Ferris wheel with two sauna cars. Good times.

Current pet sitting gig with 17yr old, diabetic Reino in Finland. He snuggled me all night last night, tonight and during my nap today so I think that means I'm acceptable! He's such a sweet boy and so good for his insulin injections. 😻

Updates: currently in a gorgeous hotel close to Krakow airport for flight to Finland tomorrow. I went on tour of Auschwitz, a salt mine, Schindler's factory, the sight of a Jewish ghetto, and a historic walking tour of Krakow.

Meemie working on comfort in her lockout cage. Her choice to start, participate, and end however she wants. 2 paws in = click and I pick up meat in the tongs for her (which she finds very exciting). Unfortunate update 😢 Me: 10, Mice: 2, Cats: 1 Not my objective, obviously, and learned a valuable lesson but feel horrible.

Mouse #9 caught and #7 released (I think?). Change of plans. As soon as I hear trap activity, I grab it and tape the door shut so they can't escape. I'm not waiting until dusk anymore bc extreme stress for mouse. Now releasing ASAP. Found a new site with buildings, dumpsters, fields, stone walls, a stream and lots of cover. Sorry for the loud crunching!! I caught 2 yesterday. Had to release at a shed behind my house bc the "empty" building I had selected was apparently not empty! I had no idea humans lived there😬 So here are two adults being released with a shelter I made (birdhouse filled with straw and drier lint) with plenty of food, at a safe shed. They likely will find their way back to my house so I need a better release spot for the one I just caught. That's 7 so far! #mice #humanetrap #bekind #everyonedeservestolive #mousetrap

I offer private, one-on-one sessions in your home, virtually online, or at my office. I also provide educational services to animal care and control professionals, professionals who encounter animals in their daily work, community groups, or to any let lover looking for education on animal behavior and training related information. My educational events occur locally, nationally, internationally, and online.
