Callie may not be able to tell us exactly how she feels about getting rescued, but it's probably safe to say that she is FEELING GOOD! (Callie isn't quite ready for adoption yet, but will be ready as soon as her heart worm treatment is completed and she has been spayed).

Sweet Mamma Rio is ready for adoption. Did you know that Rio actually rescued herself? When a passerby who fed her regularly down on the TX/Mexico border opened her car door, pregnant Rio hopped right in! She was ready for a better life:) Rio is only 27 lbs and is super sweet. She can be adopted out locally and the rescue will help coordinate her spay as soon as she is ready (need to wait a bit after nursing pups).

Hoping a few of our tech-savvy followers can help us: we are in need of an on-line form that we can use for adoption applications. Are there any inexpensive "go to" on-line form vendors? Anyone who can spare an hour or two to help us? (Petfinder adoption site offers an on-line adoption application but we have had a lot of trouble receiving completed applications through Petfinder. This is frustrating for potential adopters and for us so it's time for us to figure out another way to help our adoptable dogs find the homes they deserve.) WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Rio's pups will soon be heading off to their short-term foster homes and will be ready for adoption in about 4 weeks. Puppies require a lot of time and attention, so adoptive families are required to have an adult home all/most of the time. Email us for more info: [email protected]
