Why we switched from open pens to using cages, not all Bunny's are OK with new people within their safe space and they'll fight/bite. Especially if they're unneutered/unspayed ones. We clean/changes water/food while their outside of the cages playing :) , this way has proven safe for us so far, so I think the cage is staying for us 😀.
