Someone is enjoying this Celebrity Pet treatment. ⭐️

We are back in the air and Darby is on his way! He is getting the star treatment on board Delta. For anyone wondering, no he isn’t my service dog. (Yet.) He has shown some really big steps into possibly becoming one for my migraines. In the end, he really showed up this trip and it’s challenges through and through.

We are almost home sweet home. ✈️

A new hike for us! 🌅 ⛰️

After we wrapped our shoot today, we took a nice nearby hike! The land is so different than Maryland (I must say I miss more greenery and grass) but still beautiful nevertheless.

Darby found a souvenir! He asked me to bring it home with us. 🪵

All I can say is that…. We made it happen.

He gave it his all and then some. He leaned in to me and I him to get the job done. We did that and more. Things I doubted… he showed me the way. I am so proud that I sit here fully exhausted and completely utterly grateful for him - tearing up over some quick late night food.

I don’t deserve him. He’s one in a million. He gave me everything and more because it was us… not for the treats or the toys.

End rant. I’m just a super proud Dog Mom right now. 😭 *cue tears*

I can’t wait to share more when this project releases. For now, my lips must remain sealed! 🤐

Stop and smell the flowers! 💐

Today is the BIG DAY. We pray it goes well. 🎥 So much rides on this day for our work and I have to give it up to God that it all works out. Some jobs are a cinch… and some are tricky. This one may top them all. 🤞

However, I take this photo and remember to BREATHE. To stop, trust in God and our skills, and our bond.

Darby says all this one on one time is OK by him! 🖤

One thing I’ve learned is that it’s good to take one dog out at a time when you have a multi dog household. I need to do it more. Darby didn’t like to see his brothers leave, but he’s so happy now to get this one on one time with me. We are keeping it low key here before we start work.

Cooking high value treats, casual walks, a little training, and massage.

We start the craziness tomorrow! (There will be no photos or video from set, though. Need to follow policy! 🫡)

Don’t get me wrong, I love my adventures…

…but when we aren’t all together… a piece of my heart is missing. Darby and I are on a true adventure together. Missing the family and boys back home.

I am so grateful for the team effort it takes to care for the dogs while I’m away. My parents endlessly step in to care for a few as well as my friend Rachel and her business Good Dog! Cozy Cottage & Spa. Plus my husband and mother-in-law keeping the house running and my daughter on track for school. It truly takes a village.. and a very special kind of village at that. I am forever grateful!

✨ We often take for granted the very things that deserve our gratitude. ✨

Beasley recently went in for a procedure (old man lumps and bumps, etc) and was treated with so much love and care as if he was their own. This is All Kinds Veterinary Hospital in Callaway, MD. Fun fact: I worked there years ago and they changed my life into finding my passion for animals and the joy of helping people around you.

The technicians and doctors took the time to make Beasley comfortable - asking his commands, how he works best and giving the best accommodations and comfort so that his stay took the least amount of stress on him. Huge shoutout to Dr. Adam, Dr. Autumn, Dr. Jenn, Techs Shanda and Nikki, and the many others there that give endlessly in their work.

It isn’t just THIS time, but every 👏🏻 time 👏🏻 I go to AKVH.

Please understand that this can be a thankless job at times - a grueling one that burns the wick at both ends. Please understand that the holidays are often very hard for them, too. They are doing the best to fit in your pets while trying to squeeze some personal time in for their family and the holidays.

What can you do? Show appreciation! Be patient, kind, and understanding. I am so grateful and blessed to have the AKVH family take care of The Joy Crew.

Beasley is doing well from his procedure. Journey had a recent visit and is healthy and.. well… crazy Journey. 🤪

I am entering this week with so much gratitude and love for the wonderful people in my life. Life has been so bright. God is good.
