Goodness, look at Jordan! This sweet young boxer/pitty blend weighs 40 pounds and is the epitome of the perfect best friend! She loves squeaky toys, tennis balls and doing her commands for treats or even just for the glory of lots of praise! Jordan is crate trained and knows sit, down, stay, spin, paw and she’ll sit pretty (her command is “meerkat 😆) and fetch! Jordan loves kids and currently lives and plays with a few different dogs and loves them! She has seemed too interested in the cat in her foster home, so a cat-free home will allow everyone to thrive!

Jordan was gifted a complimentary board and train with Whitney Gray of Gray Canine Rescue & Rehab! She has received around the clock, and around the block, guidance. She is trained and is an absolute joy to be around! In amazing news, Jordan’s adoption fee is fully sponsored with your approved application! At adoption, she will come with her collar and leash and even a free training session in her new home!

Jordan is doing great here at training. She is able to be placed with friendly/tolerant dogs as she has done fantastic with my dogs. She does do things like sit on top of them which is why we say tolerant. She still doesn't have any applications in. Potty trained, knows sit, spin, working on down, and sit pretty (or as I call it meerkat 🤣). Loves cuddles, would prefer to be with her humans as often as possible. Crate trained and good in her crate. Share and let's find this girl a home of her own!

Big Announcement Gray Canine Rescue and Rehab will be opening a retail store here in Washington! We hope to have the store fund further nonprofit efforts! What would you like to see in the store? Comment below! We plan on opening Friday the 12th of July. If anything changes I will post it here.

The difference a foster home can make is pretty clear. Our "dog aggressive dog" seems to have just been overwhelmed by shelter life and with a few days of behavioral therapy has decided she quite likes other dogs especially Macaroni. It Takes A Village Animal Rescue & Resources to apply for this young lady. she still has a week and a half of camp so let's see her shine.

This is such a hard post for me to make. A week of terribly unfortunate events wound up with me in the hospital and Theo and his handler with broken feet. With our first major competition coming this weekend it has been a devastating decision for us to pull River and Theo from the season.The money raised for Canine Cannonball Dock Team is still going to be used for the team. Mugz is still in the running and the amount we have raised should get him through regionals and maybe even help with a bit of his nationals. We hope to cheer them on all the way!!! Again this was not a decision I made lightly but for the safety of myself and the dogs it had to be made... I am devastated but we hope to have you cheer us on in the years to come. If anyone who donated would like their money returned instead please message me.

I think this gal likes rural life

Diesel passed at 1 year old from unknown causes. This is his half-brother bane in training with me this week. Bitter-sweet for myself and their family. Compassion fatigue is a real thing.

I can't wait to show you guys more of Anchors journey as a Therapy puppy in training. Unfortunately we have to wait a little while to share too much but all of Anchors training will be donated by Gray Canine to help a great organization. Hopefully I'll be able to fill you in more in a couple weeks. Anchor is a 16 week old purebred Portuguese Water Dog.

I am approaching 2 years in buisness!!! I would like to thank everyone who has supported me. It has been an exhausting and crazy couple of years that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Stop supporting bad breeding practices. There is a reason the #1 dog I see in for behavioral issues is the goldendoodle. These breeders typically do no temperament or health testing.

Theos Longest jump 17.9!!!!

These kids partied a bit too hard last night and forgot to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Thank you for all the support. This year has been a whirlwind but we made it. Hoping for big things in the near future.

Littermates

For anyone wondering how our Littermate syndrome duo is doing. They are coming along quickly now that they have been separated. What most people do wrong in this situation is reintroduce the pups. They will need a long period of being apart before they can be together again. This is the risk of getting two pups at once.

Littermate Syndrome

Looking back on our Notes November about Littermate syndrome... This little man is showing the effects of Littermate Syndrome. His brother was out of his sight for less than a minute and this is the level of distress for being separated for moments. His brother is just as If is allowed to progress it is very likely this codependence would worsen and lead to many of the behavioral issues listed in our Notes post. Thankfully their owners reached out to a trainer soon enough to get them help. PLEASE DON'T GETTING TWO PUPPIES AT ONCE!!!! If you do have two Littermates and you see any signs of these behaviors please contact a trainer. Unfortunately separating them as much as possible for the first year is the only real way to fix this.
