“Something To Seriously Think About”
One day a donkey said to the tiger:
The grass is blue
The tiger replied:
No, the grass is green.
The conversation became very intense, and the pair opted to present their case for arbitration, so they approached the lion, the ruler of the Jungle.
Even before they reached the forest, where the lion was sitting on his throne, the donkey began to shout:
Highness, is it true that the grass is blue?
The lion replied:
Yes the grass is blue."
The donkey continued shouting:
The tiger disagrees with me and it annoys me, will you please punish him?
The king then said:
The tiger will be punished with 5 years of silence.
The donkey jumped cheerfully as he went on his way, content and repeating out loud

The tiger accepted his punishment, but before he left he asked the lion:
Your Majesty, why did you punish me?, after all, the grass is green.
The lion replied:
Yes In fact, the grass is green.
So the tiger asked:
Why are you punishing me?
The lion replied:
The punishment has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green.
The punishment is because a brave and intelligent animal like yourself can’t waste your time arguing with a donkey, and on top of that come and bother me with a silly question like that.
The worst waste of time is arguing with someone who does not care at all about truth or reality, but only the victory of their beliefs and illusions. NEVER waste any of your valuable time on arguments that don't make sense, however there are people who, no matter how much evidence is presented to them, are blinded by their ego, hatred, and resentment, and all they want is to be right even if they know they are not.
When ignorance screams, intelligence is silent. Your peace and quiet is worth so much more.
P.S. I’m sure you probably know of someone in your circle of friends and relatives who are like the donkey.
