Lola introducing her parents 😂❤️
The Barrier Challenge starts at 4 weeks, and I repeat it daily with each puppy until they are having no problems navigating the barrier. With my typical method, the puppy is given a little taste of their food, then moved away a short distance behind a barrier. They must figure out a way around the barrier, to reach the food. This activity greatly enhances problem-solving and intelligence, as well as developing the capacity to think when frustrated. In this case, the puppies have given themselves the barrier challenge as I observe from a distance. Dud is seen wanting to lay down in the crate but immediately sees he’s faced with a barrier. From our practicing he learned to go around, but still struggles, assuming another barrier will be there. Until his brother Brady shows up and they overcome their challenge together. This inspires or draws near other puppies, Wesson, Charlie, and Bruiser, who are seen working hard to figure out a solution. Great job to Dud and Brady for their accomplishment and good job for the effort from the other pups, they’ll get this in no time! #littlebutbig
