Without boring you with the details, on days when there are single digit temps, I will be rescheduling early morning dogs or possibly closing for the day altogether. This week has been very trial and error for keeping things thawed out and operable. It seems to be a lot easier to handle after around 11am when the temps have risen some and the sun is shining. This gives me hope I can just move your time to later in the day! Thank you for your understanding!

Here is the news! I will be offering drop-in services for ONLY my regular clients in Washington and Montgomery (time is the reason for area restriction) Drop ins are a way for you to go out of town and not have to worry about finding boarding reservations, or having to rush home from date night. I know a lot of people would prefer their dog be in the comfort of their own homes while they’re away, and this is a way for me to offer this. I will primarily be offering drop ins in the early morning hours between 530am-7am and in the evenings around the same time to allow 12 hours between visits. My base price for this will be $25 per visit. I do not charge more for homes with multiple dogs. My base price will cover me coming over, feeding and watering and letting them out to potty. The only time I will need to adjust pricing for multiples is if I need to take extra time to play some fetch or take a quick walk, it will be a little more by approximately 5-10 dollars. I can also take your trash cans to the curb and pull them back in on trash day and bring your mail inside, water plants etc. I can work with just about any small task you may need taken care of while you’re gone. We can go over everything beforehand, discuss any concerns either of us may have and I can give you a detailed bill of all services requested. If you request, I will text you each time I go to let you know all is well and that I have been. This will most likely be a generic text unless I need to alert you of anything unusual. The reason that I am STRICTLY only offering this to regulars, is because I already know these dogs and they know me. Most of my clients aren’t home when I go and those dogs are used to seeing me at their home when no one is home. Even if you are home when I go, your dog hopefully knows me by now and knows its okay for me to be there! I cannot offer this service to dogs that I do not know and that do not know me. That can get scary quickly and want this to be a client exclusive service as I appreciate each and every one of you that supports my small business all year! If your dog needs a 3rd visit in the middle of the day, that can be arranged but the time frame will vary and space will become limited as I will be working my normal grooming route a large majority of the day. Since midday drop ins will most likely be just a quick in and out potty break, those will be $10-$15 depending how far you live from my house. Please reach out with any questions!
