For those times when you can't be with your pets, ALC focuses on providing trustworthy and compassionate care for all species of animals. Whether you require a one-time visit, daily care while at work or comprehensive pet-sitting services, our caretakers will treat your pets like one of their own. Training - All lessons are designed to help you reach your training goals and are customized based on your dog's behavioral needs. We use a reward based training method that utilizes food, praise and positive petting to achieve desired training results. No choke chains, pinch collars, electronic collars or other corrective methods or devices will be used. Unless otherwise noted, all sessions are one hour in length.
• Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Levels of Obedience Training - these lessons cover a wide range of material from basic sits/downs and walking on a loose leash to advanced distance work, off leash recalls and upper level tricks. Cost: $100/session or pre-pay $450/5 sessions
• Puppy Head Start - these lessons are designed with dogs under six months in mind. In addition to beginner obedience skills, housebreaking, greeting manners, mouthing and other puppy specific issues will be addressed. Cost: $120/session or pre-pay $540/5 sessions
• Behavior Modification-these lessons focus on anxiety, fear or aggression based issues. We can help with separation anxiety, on leash reactivity towards other dogs or people, fear of the crate, car, doggy door etc. or any other behavior that you would like to address. Any of the above lessons can by booked as a day training package. Each package will include 7 sessions taught over the course of two weeks. Your trainer will work one on one with your dog for an hour a day, three times a week. The 7th session with be taught with the owner present, as your trainer will transfer behavior cues and catch you up to speed on all that your dog has learned. These two week packages are pre-paid $550.
• Puppy Socializing - specialized 30 minute field-trips that allow your puppy to practice their skills in a variety of environments. Early exposure to people, places and things away from the home is extremely important to ensure your puppy will grow into a confident, well-adjust adult dog. These adventures can be schedule without the owner in attendance for an additional $10/session transportation fee. Cost $50/session or pre-pay $225/5 sessions. Pet Care - All of our pet care packages can be customized to meet the needs of your household. Please contact us for a custom quote if you require multiple daily visits or weekend service. We are more than happy to combine training with any pet care visit.
• Potty Breaks - 15 minute visits that give your pets a chance to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. Cost: $30/visit or pre-pay $125/week for a single daily visit Monday-Friday. Additional fees may apply if more than two pets require care during a single visit.
• Daytime Feeding or Medication - 30 minute visits that include a potty break. Cost: $45/visit or pre-pay $200 week for a single daily visit Monday-Friday. Additional fees may apply if more than two pets require care during a single visit.
• Longer Individual or Group Walks - Custom walks designed to meet your dog's exercise and behavior needs. These walks can be done around your neighborhood or at a variety of dog friendly locations around town. Pricing will include transportation. Cost:Please contact us for a custom quote.
• Transportation to Groomer/Veterinarian - one way or round trip service available. We can even stay to comfort your pet during their appointment and bring any important information or medication home with them. Cost: Price varies based on mileage and length of appointment. • Pet Sitting in Your Home - whether you are just out of town for the day or planning an extended vacation, we can provide comprehensive care for your pets. (Boarding in your caretaker's home may be available on a very limited basis). Book early to ensure availability. Cost: Prices start at $60/day depending on length of stay and number of animals.
