Want to get in the spirit of the upcoming Super Bowl? Come to "Puppy Bowl V" with your graduate KSDS dog or your puppy-in-training on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Bar K Dog Bar!
The Puppy Bowl will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., but you're welcome to stay for as little or as much of it as you'd like. Graduates and puppy raisers had fun at last year's Puppy Bowl just before the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII. (Hey -- maybe we were some of the team's good luck charms!! 🙂 )
Bar K, at 501 Berkley Parkway near downtown KC, generously lets KSDS graduates and puppy raisers use space at its facility for monthly training and play sessions. The format for our participation in Puppy Bowl V hasn't been decided, but it might include some training, play, and/or demonstrations of what our great dogs can do.
This year's Super Bowl is the next day, Feb. 9, in New Orleans. Puppy Bowl V will be held whether or not the Chiefs are playing in the Super Bowl.....but we sure hope they are!
Please let us know by Jan. 23 if you can attend (comment below or direct message this group's administrators) so that we can decide whether to accept Bar K's invitation to take part in this event. Thanks!
