The world lost a wonderful collie this week. Clover was only 3 oz when she was born into my third litter of collies ever. After growing up and having a few litters of her own, she spent many years being loved and cherished (and competing in nosework!) in the perfect retirement home. She would have been 14 in November. I am so sorry for your loss, Michelle! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Litter plan update! Constance/Henry babies are leaving this week. We had the puppy vet exam today, and my vet gave her enthusiastic approval for a third and final litter with Constance on her next season, this winter. Sire will be Gil, pending OFA prelims. Also we are keeping baby Kefalonia (new name Saffron) from the current litter, and our tricolor Birdie from last year’s Rogue/Henry litter is being spayed next week and has a home lined up with another Romany collie. (Birdie is a great dog, but when her original owner had to give her up at 8 months, I kept her because she’s delightful, not because I really needed her for my breeding program!) To say I’m excited about the next litter is an understatement. Constance is so smart and intuitive and is literally the perfect mother. AKC champion Gil is handsome, goofy, and very loving. Both are vigorously healthy, easy keepers, and have great structure and movement. I can’t wait to see what we get!

Constance and Henry babies have arrived, as of this morning (2-7 am 😂😂). There are four males and four females, all rough. Constance and babies are doing great!
