AK Ever After Horsemanship

We are a 15 acre farm near Wasilla. We offer horse boarding, lessons, some training and photography sessions with our farm critters.

All the mares got new boots- and they are way more expensive than any pair of shoes/boots I have ever bought for myself 🤣

All our beautiful training horses have left for the winter. We are thankful and proud of each and every one that we have got to be a part of their partnership this year. April and May of next summer are already fully booked. I have one spot left for June and July and haven’t started booking into next fall yet- if you want on our list let us know!

Pretty sure the horses think I’m crazy as I’m always doing weird things with them. Took Lovely for a walk through the neighborhood today and she helped me take the trash can to the end of our long driveway on the way haha

So happy for sunshine today! Had lessons (Napoleon got to teach one of the beginners how to drive today), did some jumping and played with the training horses- Maybe is getting more confident with someone on her back, Lovely is getting accustomed to the trailer and Happy is learning how to be patient while tying.

Lovely is also just being lightly started for riding this fall and we are keeping everything really lightweight as she is young. Her ground skills, despooking and trailer loading are all doing fantastic and just look how cute she looks in an English get up!

Maybe is coming along! She’s only being very lightly started right now and coming back in the spring for full riding training now that we have all the manners and necessary ground skills developed. Look at her go!

Training horses got two days off while I went on an adventure but we are right back at it today and I took advantage of having saddle packs on to up our saddling ante- both mares did quite well!

Working on confidence in the trailer with Lovely today with the help of her favorite friend. And then Ever was loose grazing and thought we might be leaving with out her and came running over and jumped in lol

Lovely participates in lessons a little today by watching and working nearby and having an occasional short term passenger so she starts getting use to people on and off of her and lots of activity going on

Lovely’s first ride!

I warned everyone that if they were near Trinity they would get wet… Jaycee said Yay! But then got soaked and decided not to be near Trinity on the next puddle 🤣

Lovely isn’t quite ready for a full pony session yet but we started a little today and she did pretty good!

Raven is really improving on his manners. When he came you couldn’t even come close to spraying him and when you did he would run you over, bite or strike. He is now becoming a proper gentleman and we couldn’t be more proud of him!

Seven is coming right along. Still have some areas that need improvement but I’m very happy with how far she has come

Gypsies take a little longer than other breeds in my opinion but Seven is progressing for sure. Seven’s first successful canter!

Seven isn’t riding real prettily yet but she is riding haha. She’s coming along and she’s sure nice to look at.

Had a little time today to work my own pretty little bay filly, Sparrow. She will be 4 here soon.

One of the requests that Seven’s owner made was to get her use to the leaf blower so she could dry out those beautiful feathers on her legs. It took a few days but I would say Mission Accomplished. Good girl Seven!
