Hambone was expecting his breakfast when we opened his house. 🤣 He wasn’t told his spa day was first am and gave us the stink eye.

I can’t wait to see the transformation on Angel. She has a lot going on here. With regular hoof maintenance we should be able to get her feet back in tip top shape. I normally do not take anything off the top but I needed to see what I was working with. It shows bruises and cracks from walking on hooves too long. She had rocks embedded in her front claws. A good working hoof should be balanced. The front claws will need a lot of time to grow out so they can be properly balanced.

While up in Fairbanks trimming hooves yesterday I ran across this little piggy. He was in the cold by himself shivering. His two sisters and mom put him in the corner. No doubt there is something wrong with him. His tail and part of his ears are gone from frostbite. He tilts his head and has no s***k and he wobbles. He’s a little warm and may have pneumonia. I can feel all his bones. Will be starting him on formula today along with vitamins. Will call vet in am for a check up. I named him Eddie for now. Special Ed 🐽❤️. The lady said if I did the trim for free I could have him. He’s pure Kune. I just couldn’t leave him in that mess. Pray for Eddie he will pull through and be a happy little piggy.
