ADOPTION: Sal, and Coco and Layla (must be adopted together), are STILL waiting for their forever homes. There has been little to no interest in these sweet babies and we can't understand why! πŸ₯²You can read their stories below on prior posts.

If interested in these cuties, please contact us at [email protected]

ADOPTION: Meet our next litter of 4 that are ready to find their forever homes, Dilly & Dally (the twins), Storm, and little Teensie. These four cuties are about 10 weeks old and are full of kitten energy! πŸ˜ƒ These kittens must be adopted in pairs, unless there is a suitable cat/kitten companion already in the home. These babies have received their first vaccinations and their mom tested negative for feline leukemia and aids.

If you are interested in these little fur babies, please contact us at [email protected]

ADOPTION UPDATE: We are happy to share that Faith and Kelsey went to their forever home yesterday! πŸ₯° They are settling in nicely and their big feline sister, Luna, is getting used to having their smell in her home. We are confident that they will all become best friend sisters in no time. ☺️ Faith & Kasey are getting lots of love from their new human family and we are so thankful to them for giving Faith & Kasey a second chance at life! ❀

A big thank you to Cathy, their foster mom, for providing Faith & Kasey, along with their 5 siblings and mom, a wonderful, caring, nurturing foster home when they needed it. Without you Cathy, we wouldn't have been able to help this family in such need. Fosters Really make a difference in getting cats and kittens prepared to go off into their forever home. ❀

FOSTER OR ADOPTION: Meet Sal, a 6 month old cutie, who is the sweetest little guy looking for a new foster or a new forever family. Sal was rescued from a person's back yard. When he came to us, he was still afraid of humans, which was to be expected, and had never lived inside a house. He has since been in a foster home for 2 weeks, and has made good progress learning to trust adults. He continues to run, now more slowly, when his foster mom comes into his space, but will now come out and climb on her lap when she sits on the floor. Once in her lap, Sal will purr very loudly and roll over and stretch out begging for chest rubs and petting. Even if Sal is hiding in his safe space under the hanging clothes, he will begin purring and rolling over as soon as a human begins petting him or picks him up. He loves to be held.

Sal is continuing on his journey to become more socialized and we are hoping to reunite him with his brother in the next couple weeks, who is very much more trusting of humans and more social. We are hoping that Sal's brother, Kody, will help Sal gain the confidence to feel safer and more comfortable living inside and being around humans.

Unfortunately, Sal, and possibly his brother, will need a new foster home or better yet, a new forever home in the next couple weeks, due to no fault of anyones. The ideal home needs to be a quiet one, with no young children, and someone home most of the day to continue to work with Sal on his journey to being more social. If his brother does not go with him, his new home will need to have another cat or kitten in it, no dogs, so that he will have a feline companion and playmate. He gets very excited and eager to get to know the cat in his current foster home, but unfortunately the cat wants nothing to do with him. πŸ₯² We would ideally love for Sal and Kody to be adopted or fostered together so they can rekindle their relationship (they used to play with each other when living outside).

Sal is a lovable little guy who wants to be more trusting of humans, but needs a little more help. He is up to date with his vaccinations and will be neutered prior to his adoption.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Sal, and possibly Koday as well, please contact us at [email protected].

ADOPTION: Meet Tiger (grey) and Sul (orange), two beautiful 1 year old cats that are very scared and confused because they were surrendered by their owners this weekend because 1 of them was going to school. Poor Tiger was literally shaking upon being surrendered and quickly cuddled up next to Sul. These two sweet cats have never seen a vet and we believe they are brother and sister. Both will be going to the vet this week to get checked over, vaccinated, and spayed and neutered. They will soon be available for adoption and we would like them to be adopted together since they appear to be a bonded pair. We would love for them to be able to go to a forever home quickly as they are very scared at the shelter.

If you are interested in possibly adopting these two sweet kitties, please email us at [email protected].

We would like to send a BIG Thank You to Mary (a former foster) who organized a donation drive for us at work. Due to her efforts she collected adult and kitten canned food, bags of adult and kitten dry food, dog beds, blankets, and litter. THANK YOU Mary for thinking of us, and to all your co-workers who donated! ❀

ADOPTION UPDATE: OK we know you have been waiting to see the 7 kittens that also found their forever homes this weekend, so here they are:

Camile: Camile is settling into her new home, a little shy at first but beginning to explore her new environment 😊

Copper: Copper is initially being a shy little guy, but we know he will be out and about in no time to meet and play with his new human family. ☺️

Dolly (aka Maggie): Dolly is a little lonely right now and misses her siblings and mom, but she is being entertained and kept company by her new human family. She has briefly met her new feline brother, but he doesn't know how he feels about having a little sister in the house. 😁

Toby&Lainey: Toby & Lainey are foster failures. They are pretty comfortable in their new home and still have mom and 2 sisters to hang with and keep them busy. ❀

Reba & Taylor: These 2 are having a great time exploring their new room, toys, and cat tree. They also are enjoying getting to know their new family, both big and small. We are certain they will be kept very busy! πŸ˜ƒ

We wish all these kittens a happy and long life filled with lots of love! πŸ₯° Thank you to all the families who gave them wonderful homes and a second chance at life!! ❀

ADOPTION UPDATE: We had a fantastic adoption weekend!!! πŸ₯° There were 10 cats & kittens who found their forever homes this weekend!! Yahoo!!! We are "over the moon" happy for them.

Three cats, Banks, Rusty, and Stella, who we had for over 2 years and is a one & only, each found their new family. They are all doing well settling in: Banks is getting to know his new family's laps and rubbing up against their legs; Rusty is eagar to be able to explore his new house and meet his new feline sister Lucie; and Stella is playing with all her new toys, and giving kisses to her new mom. I would say tshe LOVES her new home without all the other cats!! πŸ˜„β€

We wish all of them a long and happy life filled with lots of love. Thank you to their new families who gave them a second chance at life!! ❀

The adoption updates for the 7 kittens will follow soon. Stay tuned.☺️

Please Everyone, Spay and Neuter your animals!!!!

πŸ“š Our BACK TO BASICS SERIES: spaying and neutering 🐾 What are the benefits?

The benefits of spaying (females) include:
βœ… Population control! No more unwanted litters!
βœ… No heat cycles; therefore, males will not be attracted.
βœ… Reduction or elimination of mammary gland tumors, ovarian and uterine cancer, especially if done before the first heat cycle.
βœ… Reduced incidence of pyometra.
βœ… Better overall health for the cat whose body is no longer stressed and depleted by constant reproduction.

The benefits of neutering (males) include:
βœ… Population control! No more unwanted litters!
βœ… Reduction or elimination of spraying and marking.
βœ… Elimination of hormone-fueled cat fights.
βœ… Risk of testicular cancer is eliminated, and the incidence of prostate disease is decreased.
βœ… Less desire to roam. Toms stay closer to home and tend to become calmer and friendlier.
βœ… A reduction in the spread of FIV, a virus spread between cats by deep bites/puncture wounds received while fighting.
βœ… Longer lifespan: outdoor intact male cats tend to get hurt or die while roaming in search of a female in heat. Neutering removes the urge to roam.

Sterilizing our community cats is beneficial to the community as well. Cats that are spayed/neutered during the TNR process are healthier animals and make better neighbors. Complaints of overpopulation, fighting, yowling, and marking will decrease, making the cats more welcome members of the community. Sterilization also saves taxpayer and animal welfare dollars as fewer animals will be captured, impounded, and eventually euthanized due to illness, injury, or lack of homes. Save a life! Spay or neuter all the cats -- your pet(s) and those outdoors.

Want to save 100 cats? Just spay one! We can save them all from a life of suffering. Please spay and neuter! πŸ±πŸ’™

ADOPTION: Would you like to add 2 feline siblings to your family? If so, Coco and Lala are the perfect pair. πŸ₯° Coco (Black & white) is on the quiet side, being a little shy, but a lap kitty who gives lots of kisses and is superb at making biscuits on her blanket. She is also very playful but does have her limits and leaves the playground when sister or other feline friends in her foster home get too rough. Lala (long haired black) is very outgoing, playful and adventurous. She is into everything! πŸ˜„ Lala is more the independant one, but has her "lovebug" moments. They both are climbers and will definately need a tall cat tree in their forever home. They also love the cat fountain in their foster home.

These adorable siblings are 3 months old, up to date with vaccinations, and tested negative for feline leukemia and aids. They prefer a home with no dogs or young children.

If you are interested in Coco and Lala, please contact us at [email protected]
