🐈A little update on the 'eye infection crew'.
Unfortunately, the only survivor of that litter of kittens is the sweet, grey boy (being goofy while I clean 🤣) in the video below. 😿 Although we're upset about the loss of his siblings, we're extremely grateful that he pulled through. He did become ill, but managed to get through it with lots of meds, fluids and syringe feedings. 🙏 Mama has done well too. She was spayed, vaccinated and adopted into a very loving home 🩷
Panleukopenia is no joke. It hits hard and fast, making it incredibly dangerous and all the more reason to keep your pets up to date on their vaccinations. 😺

Remember the orange guy who went in for TNR? 🧡 Well, it turns out he's not feral .... At all.... 😥 We couldn't send him back outside knowing he wasn't feral and obviously didn't handle his location well, so now he's with us and safe. He's a sad, scared boy, but we hope with time he'll learn that not all humans are bad and find a good home 🙏 He does love butt pets and taking, so that's a good sign so far.
🩷HUGE thank you to Kathleen Branchaud for the crate for him and the donation of supplies! Thank you so much! 😊
As always if you wanna help with the kitties in our care, you can find our wishlists below. Thank you again!

🩷 This lil lady is in awe at the goodies we've received from our wishlist! Thank you so much Joanna Barlow Black and Vanessa Sotelo! 😻
Did you know kittens teeth just like human babies? 😻 It usually begins around 3-4 weeks and continues until about 8 weeks old, when all 26 baby teeth should be present! #feralcatscount #cats #kittens #catfacts #kittenlife #catrescue #tnr #teething
😻Angry Kitten Alert😻
Kittens know very early how to hiss, puff up, swat and growl in order to protect themselves. So how do we socialize angry babies? With lots of love, patience and treats, of course! It takes time, but it's so worth it 🩵 This baby below is making great progress, no longer trying to bite, only hissing to express her frustration 🐱
🎉Great news🎉
We've officially received our 501(c)3 nonprofit status! I can't even begin to explain how fantastic this is for the kitties we help. We'll be able to apply for grants and all kinds of other assistance to be able to TNR and rescue more cats.
🩷The goal, as always, is to safely and humanely control the population with Trap Neuter Return, as well as educate the public about community cats and housecats and what we can do to improve their lives!
Thank you to everyone for all of the support and assistance so far! This process has not been the easiest and I couldn't have done it alone 😻
There's so much more to come, but in the meantime, here's a video of the first kitty that got me interested in helping feral cats. 😺
I'd spotted this scrawny, sick, kitten walking around a parking lot in Groton on January 22nd 2021. While he himself was not feral, he lived with a colony who was (the same colony I now still feed regularly and of course, have gotten vetted) and led me to them. This little cat is now known as Vader and is living his best life with a rescue friend of mine (Jon Peschke) who also helped catch him and taught me how to use a trap. It's been a long time since then, but I'll never forget this little guy and I'm grateful I was in the right place at the right time that day 🩵
Please help spread the word, share this post or this page. The more supporters we have, the more good we can do, even just with education. Thank you so much again! 💚
