Hey yall I know it’s been a hot minute since I last posted but let me tell you it’s been a wild ride moving from NY to NC. Let me tell you a little bit about it. To start we did our first ever DITY move and boy oh boy was that not fun once we got everything unpacked everyone settled in and started in school here we added baby number 6 to the family in December. I also immediately got set up to start in taking kittens. I had taken in 2 pregnant moms by January the first Mercedes had 5 babies one of them had a severe cleft palate and while I managed to tube feed him and keep him healthy for 8 weeks after he was born I suddenly and abruptly lost him at 8 weeks and it was beyond devastating for me. The next momma I took in Barbie Q birthed 4 beautiful spunky babies. My next momma Daisy belonged to an older gentleman who lived by himself but was on hospice and needed to find her a home so she came to me pregnant a few weeks later had 3 babies unfortunately the first was a stillborn. Now to present date I have a momma Lady and her 3 gorgeous babies I also ended up with 3 bottle babies a few weeks ago after a neighbors dachshund chased off their feral momma and killed one of her kittens then, about 4 weeks ago a feral momma had babies under my shed and my dogs were not to happy about it so it wasn’t a safe place for them to stay so I was able to fish the babies out from under my shed and use them to lure their mom into a humane trap and reunite them in my home in a XL dog crate until they are old enough to be seperated from her and for her to be spayed and released back out. Then one of the other ferals in my neighborhood showed up with her 2 kittens who are about 7-8 weeks old so I trapped the kittens and used them to trap mom she has been spayed already and will be getting release in the next couple days. Last but certainly not least a local veterinary clinic reached out looking for a temp foster for a baby kitten that was attacked by a dog poor baby had to have part of her tail amputated and she also had a puncture wound to her abdomen that needed repaired so I stepped up and brought her home as well so I currently have 15 kitties I am caring for and to top it off my husband has been deployed for almost all of this. All of this to say I could really use help with food and litter for all of these babies I know families are struggling right now with the way the economy is but if you are able I could really use the help. Thank you so much in advance the kittens and I appreciate it.
