Still going strong and loving it! We currently only offer mobile grooming in our state of the art Wagntails Mercedes Benz mobile grooming van. A full service salon on wheels. We pull right up to your door and groom your pet in the comfort of your driveway. We bring our own power and water. One on one grooming for a happy pet. No waiting in a kennel for their turn. No dropping off and waiting for a call your pet is ready. Much less stress for your pet and you.

My first standard poodle Gia, always had problems after I plucked her ears. Gwen and Gains I did/do very light pluck but mainly a good clip around the opening of the ear canal.

I have such great clients ! Here is one example. Made reminder calls for tomorrow. My first client always makes me lunch. She asked if I wanted Turkey or egg salad? Turkey please. Chips or Fritos? Chips please. I’ll bring her homemade chocolate chip cookies. Last groom it was ham sandwich and I brought her homemade pasta sauce. Before that it was egg salad and I brought homemade zucchini bread from zucchini from my garden. I just love my clients!!

Sometimes people think all we do is cut hair but we are the eyes for your dog for things you or your vet can’t see under all that fur. I have a three dog family I have been grooming since they were all puppies. They are very regular every 5-6 week client. Couple grooms ago when doing a sanitary clip on the middle dog I noticed a small growth next to his p***s. I took a pic and sent it to the owner asking if she had noticed it. She hadn’t. Forward to this past groom the other day I asked about the growth. He had been to the vets and put on antibiotics. No change in it. Owner had needle biopsy done. It was cancer. He goes this week to Syracuse. Going to do chest ex ray to see if the cancer has metastasized. If not he’s having surgery to remove the growth and start chemotherapy. Hoping we caught it in time. 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Please stop up and help Make a Mark Against K-9 Cancer.

We are happy to announce that we are returning to our historic norm of 24/7/365 receiving effective immediately.

We would like to express our genuine gratitude to our incredible team - those who have stayed with us as well as those who have joined us in increasing numbers - who have all worked so hard to allow us to reopen our doors to incoming patients on Fridays.

Please remember that we - like most veterinary facilities of our type across the nation - will sometimes be at maximum capacity and need to divert patients to another facility. We will continue to work with the other emergency, specialty, and urgent care facilities in our region to help get these patients the care they need.

Gains doing PT this morning. 2.5 hrs drive one way but we leave 3 hrs just to make sure we arrive in time. Don’t want to run into traffic or construction.

Even the little dogs can get involved in dog sports. The saying in dock diving isn’t that your dog has to jump the farthest just the farthest in their category.

5pm this evening driving down A1A along the ocean from St. Augustine to Daytona Beach Bruce and I decided to stop for a drink. ( ok those who know me know I drink just soda). Pass a place called Good Times Dog Bar. Of course I turn around so we can check it out. I’m thinking it’s just a bar with dog in the name but it’s actually a dog park and human bar/restaurant in one! There’s a small dog park and a big dog park. Building with a bar area and pool table. In the dog parks are some tables and lots of chairs. Outside the fence area is a sandy area plus a dock if you come by boat. Food truck on site for those that want a bite to eat. Kind of wish we had our dogs with us. The place was very busy and everyone seemed to be having a great time especially the dogs!

My neighbors are always saying to use their dock to practice dock diving with Gains so I finally took them up on their offer. Jan took some videos than I recruited her to hold him as he just gets so excited on the dock it’s hard to get him to sit/say. It would have been better if I threw his toy farther out but I get caught up with the rope I have his toy attached to. I’m nervous it will end up floating away. He’s really building his confidence!

This is Pixel the Yorkie. He and his mom are in rally class with Gains and I. Wanted to share as I think it’s so cute and awesome to watch them work together. Usually you see the small dogs just being carried around by their owners and not knowing much. The small breeds are just as smart as the larger breeds and I bet many would love to learn all sorts of tricks and commands 😊🐾🐾

All the people watching Gains getting groomed. He’s being very well behaved . Phew. I offered him up for Groom Expo in Hershey in September. 😊 Gains can start earning his keep lol
