Old Dogs New Digs has expanded our mission from not only finding homes for senior/ special-needs dogs and cats, to also helping them STAY in their current homes. Senior and special-needs animals may have health issues and expenses that come unexpectedly, and often their owners are on a fixed income. Currently one of our Community Assist cases in Maine requires more help than our program covers, so we are asking you to please consider helping SCOUT. He needs urgent dental surgery which will cost as much as $1,300 and it is a genuine quality of life/pain and infection management issue. Can you make a donation to Scout’s much-needed dental? His loving mom has asked for help, as it’s financially very difficult. Please consider helping this precious little senior dog.

Sky is an adorable 4 year old, 45 lb (+/-) spayed female pittie who is in dire need of a home. Her dad recently passed away and left sweet Sky behind. Sky is currently in a temporary foster home in Maine, but really needs a forever home sooner rather than later.

Although Sky is in foster care with other dogs, her foster mom has determined that she is dog selective. This means that she gets along with some dogs, but not with others. As a result, we are looking to find Sky a home where she will be the ONLY dog. Please do not inquire if you have other dogs that live in your home. To be safe, rather than sorry, Sky's foster mom is separating her from the other dogs in the home. This is not a great long term option, so we hope you will share this post to help find a more permanent placement.

Sky is noted to be outgoing and friendly with humans including children. She is a lovely pup who has lost her person and would love to find a stable, loving and responsible forever family to share her life with.

Due to rental insurance restrictions on bully breeds, Sky is not a good candidate for those who rent.

Sky is spayed and up-to-date on her rabies vaccine. Her foster mom will be bringing her to the vet to get her updated on other vaccines and her 4DX test (heartworm and tick borne disease test.)
