Some of you may have seen the post that Jacob Lee and/or his wife Kristin Koptyra-Lee put on our page. I did not see it, but I understand that he said we were scammers and would not give his deposit back, along with some other mean comments. He is angry because he wants his deposit back because he changed his mind about getting a puppy. They live in Arizona, and I had said I would fly with the puppy to them if they covered the cost of the flight. I had/have a beautiful liver tri girl reserved for them. The deposit is our protection that you are going to complete the purchase of a puppy and it is non-refundable unless we cannot complete the transaction for some reason under our control. Even so, I told him we would give back the deposit next week, but that was not good enough for him. He started making threats about notifying the better business bureau, the local police, etc., and said that he was going to make negative posts every day until he got his money back. Because of the most recent communication with Kristin, I have decided not to refund the deposit. This man is just plain mean, and I wouldn’t want him to have one of our puppies, but I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt.
So, if you see one of his posts where he says I scammed him out of his money, it’s just not true. I was completely holding up my end of the purchase and giving my time and energy to take his puppy to Arizona.
Robert and I aren’t perfect, and sometimes we are slow with paperwork because it takes both of us to have one complete brain! But we always try to do the right thing by our customers and our puppies. We love these babies and want them to go to wonderful homes where they will be loved for the rest of their life. I haven’t ever scammed anyone out of anything and I’m not planning to start now, so please don’t believe everything you read.
