Piccante has been in the shelter for far too long and it’s taking a toll on him. He really needs to find a home as soon as possible.

When in the shelter, Piccante struggles with containing his excitement to be out of his kennel which results in him tugging and grabbing on the leash. When he has gotten time away from the shelter on short foster breaks, he doesn’t do this, so we know it’s a result of pent up frustration and of the stressful and loud environment. While he’s been out of the shelter, we’ve also learned that he is house-trained, loves people and can get along with other dogs that are okay with his excited play style. He listens well because he only wants to please! He'll even hang out on your patio with you. Piccante is a very playful pup and sometimes, he can be a little rowdy. He’s looking for a person who can help him chill out. Piccante needs you. He is deteriorating every day in the shelter, and when he’s had the opportunity to go out of foster breaks, we get to see how truly amazing he really is. He deserves a home and needs your help to leave the shelter behind ASAP.
