Cats are very good at hiding things from us, especially pain. If you have noticed your cat having a more difficult time with things like jumping, climbing stairs, and even playing - they could be suffering from arthritis. But we can help!! Solensia is a monthly injection to help control arthritis pain. This is Pumpkin, a sweet kitty who has significant arthritis in her knees. As you can see in the before and after video, she is getting around much more comfortably with the help of Solensia. And even jumping up on chairs again! Do you think your cat has arthritis pain? Call us today to ask about Solensia!

6 Weeks After Surgery!
A few months ago, Finley jumped off the deck, yelped and then could not bear any weight on his back left leg. After taking sedated radiographs, we discovered that he had torn his CCL (similar to an ACL tear in humans). Finley had a TPLO surgery 6 weeks ago and is doing fantastic!
A Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy is a surgery to fix a torn CCL. For orthopedic surgeries, we have a boarded surgeon come in to perform the surgery while our team runs anesthesia. The recovery period for orthopedic surgery requires rest and physical therapy for 10-12 weeks but once they are fully healed, most dogs can return to full activity!
Finley has 4 weeks of activity restriction and physical therapy left and we can’t wait for him to back to his normal bouncy self!
