We finally had some time to catch up on sleep and make sure our girl and her new babies were comfortable and happy. Sailor delivered her puppies late Wednesday night. Everyone including momma are healthy and fat :) 4 girls and 3 boys. Currently they’re all reserved.

As we’re coming up on gotcha days for both Peach and Olive’s litters this weekend and next It does feel a little bittersweet. Our kids adore the puppies and they get lots of playtime and snuggles with them but these litters have been extra special to me. Our little boy has been helping ( “helping” lol) since he was less than a year old but this go around he has really truly been my little assistant. Everyday after school he’s helped feed them, clean up after them, taken them outside, given them one on one attention, extra belly rubs, and yard chasing marathons. It’s so much fun to watch our kids interact with our puppies daily but also so fulfilling to watch them grow and learn.

Big week for Sailor’s pups! They were big enough for ID collars, got introduced to their jungle gym with all kinds of toys, and their potty trays to start working on potty training. They also get to start meeting their future families this weekend! Super exciting!
