Mother was a purebred BM and father was a purebred German Shepherd.

🆘 AN URGENT MESSAGE FROM DEEBO! 🆘

HI...Let me introduce myself!
My name is Deebo, and I currently crashing at the Glenn Heights Animal Shelter (may I add, not by choice)!

See, several weeks ago, I had a girlfriend, a cozy pile of leaves that we both curled up in to sleep under the stars, a trailer park full of nice folks that would feed us. It was a regular Lady and The Tramp kind of love story, until that big noisy beeping truck started coming around. Apparently some hoomans didn't like our lifestyle 🙄 and they called the pawlice on us.

First they caught my girlfriend, which really bummed me out, then she busted out and came back for me, and that's when they got me too!! My girlfriend got picked up a rescue, but I'm still here. I do have a comfortable set up, and my caregiver is very kind. She feeds me and takes me for walkies everyday, and tells me I'm the bestest good boy in the whole wide world, but no one has come to take me a rescue.

They say I have this thing called heart-worms, and that makes it hard for hoomans to accept me, but I don't understand why. Since I've been locked up, I've been on my best behavior. Being from the streets, I'm not too crazy about other male dogs, but I've been getting better at accepting them, I do like the lady dogs though.

I've learned to sleep in a kennel, and I'm now potty trained. My shelter hooman says I'm a Cadillac on a leash, and I give the most handsome smiles. I'd love to give them to my own furever hooman, but unfortunately if I don't get a rescue or someone to adopt me soon, I may not get to see another day. I'm running out of time!

We are doing a fundraiser for two amazing local shelters this Sunday! We will be doing flash art all day 12-9pm! Come support your local shelter or just stop by to say hi! Flash art will be starting at $60 and go up from there! We will have cat flash, pigs, donkeys, and so much more! We can’t wait to see you all there! Please share so we can reach the largest audience possible! This is going to be so fun!

Sweet Dolly is still needing a foster for rescue! She’s at an immediate risk since she’s almost hurt herself trying to escape the kennel. The hard part about being at the shelter is she doesn’t have someone there the majority of the time. She’s used to being on her own and outside for the past 2+ years so this is a big change for her. We are slowing getting weight on her but it takes time. She’s a great girl and would do amazing with time and dedication. Please consider being a foster angel for her! Thank you friends!
