I AM COMPLETELY HEARTBROKEN

to let everyone know Destiny lost her battle. She went down again and took her last breath on this earth in my arms. This isn’t an easy one.

There is no heartbreak quite like saying goodbye to a horse who should have lived a full life but due to neglect and abuse, she couldn’t and didn’t.

I know there was nothing else we could do more and to try would have been unkind… I know that, but it doesn’t make the tears fall any less, the grief any easier in our hearts or the loss any easier to bear.

She didn’t suffer once she came to us…

But she deserved not to suffer before us.

She deserved more.

I’m sorry, Destiny. If love could have saved you, you’d have lived forever.

Rest easy.

None of us will ever forget you.

I know it doesn’t look like much BUT she’s really putting on the weight and loving her food. Filling out, and living the life she DESERVES 🩷

Yesterday was pedi day. 5 babies were done, that was $325. Today is an Ark run and that will be $300 for 1.5 week of grain. EVERY dollar counts. It’s been a hard month. Thank you to everyone who gives ♥️

Things have been a tad crazy lately, but I’m making time this morning for a Destiny update ✨
She’s gaining weight and really filling out. Rain rot is all gone! She’s gotten strong enough to lay and roll in the mud which makes mommy ( ME) a little nervous 😂 but happy. We are running low on a lot of supplies, I’m attaching our AMAZON LIST if anyone can give ♥️

1 month progress for my sweet girl! We are SLOWLY improving. She didn’t get like this overnight and I won’t be able to fix her overnight. However, rain rot and wounds are improving. Weight is being added ♥️
Farrier will be next now that she’s getting stronger.
