Happy Adoption to our Bear!!! You probably have not heard us say much about Bear. He came to us at only 2 weeks old as No Name. We had never had a puppy like him before and honestly were not sure of his future for the first couple weeks. With lots of patience, consistency, and more love than you can imagine.......we are happy to say he is adopted to the perfect home. He was a tough one to say goodbye to, but we are so happy for him and his new mom!!!! Happy tails Blue Bear!!! You hit the jackpot !!!!!

Hi, my name is Leo!! I was found wondering the streets of Charlotte when I was only 5 weeks old. A local law enforcement officer (hence the name LEO) found me and contacted NMLR who immediately took me in. Look at me now!! A year later and I am still in rescue searching for my forever home. I am such a good boy, just ask my foster mommy. I love snuggling, playing, going to the dog park, meeting other pups, walks, you name it....I love it!!!! I don't know why no one has applied for me or why I am still in rescue. I would make the perfect best friend for someone. I am crate trained, potty trained, and lick your face trained!!! Are you active? I can be active!! Are you lazy? I can be lazy!! Please share my post and help me find my forever home. I love my foster parents so much and they are so good to me, but I really want a family to call all mine forever and know I am not leaving!!! A place to call home, that is what I need. Two Cute Tuesday! Veronica and Valerie are 4 month old terrier mix siblings. They are all ears! Both girls entered NMLR and went into foster care to gain some weight. It's Mutt Crush Monday and we are crushing on adorable Perry! He is a 12 week old lab/terrier/shepherd mix. He was surrendered with his 4 siblings to the shelter - and NMLR brought him into rescue. He is currently in a foster home while waiting for his forever family.

Without fosters, we can't rescue - it's that simple. We are in a time where shelters are in crisis. We can't save pups if we don't have a place to put them. If you have never fostered before please consider it. We provide you with everything you need. You just need to be willing and to provide a safe environment. If you are worried you will get attached, remind yourself that sending them to a loving home is better than them never leaving a shelter. Most importantly - YOU ARE SAVING LIVES! Just because I will spare all the details (iykyk), please welcome Bourbon and Jelly!!!!! These are siblings of Whiskey and Peanut Butter!! Although we did not necessarily have room or a foster, we wanted to get these siblings and not leave them behind. Please if you are able to foster one of these babies please let us know. It's Mutt Crush Monday and we are crushing on sweet Romeo! He is a happy, healthy, affectionate 9 month old good boy! He is house trained, crate trained, and dog/people friendly.
Romeo is a mixed breed and weighs about 40 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He also enjoys a good car ride. Don't miss out on this boy! He will make a great addition to a family. [email protected]

URGENT FOSTER NEEDS!!!!
We really need a few fosters!!! As much as we hate to shuffle pups, even if it is just for 2 weeks while we work on transitioning current foster needs, it would be super helpful.
