Don't forget your vet also has plans and vacations scheduled around the holidays, so if your furry friend has shots due around these busy times please remember to schedule early.

These little things often get overlooked but please update your information with us AND your vet when

~Name Change (especially those getting married)

~If your pet passes (important for the vet so they don't keep sending out reminders)

~Spayed/Neutered (if you get your pet fixed with a different vet than your own make sure to still tell your vet. Example CR Humane Alliance)

~Updated Shots (again if you get them done with another vet or a shelter clinic, make sure US and your main vet get your paperwork)

~Heat! If your girl is in heat for grooming or boarding that is OKAY with us as our dogs do not intermingle. We will still take them but please let us know.

Intact blue heeler/coon hound mix. Born January 8th, 2025.
He was taken in as a temporary foster and is ready to find his own home.

Up to date on vaccines. He loves to run and spend a lot of time outside but is the perfect cuddle bug on the couch. Knows basic commands like sit & shake and loves to give kisses and take in the belly rubs. Gets along with their big and small dog but being a puppy he has chased the cats a few times BUT has never hurt one. He is great around kids as well.

We are FULL for grooming appointments till after Thanksgiving.

Grooming is staying a consistent 8 weeks out but if you want to get in before Christmas (or during break for those that are teachers) please message quickly.

Boarding is also for more than just vacations. Fall wedding season is upon us! Ashley also typically takes trips in the fall/early spring so most weekends she will NOT be able to groom while your dog is being boarded (just a heads up)

2026 Book is OPEN. If you already have dates planned for weddings/vacations/graduations/having a baby/surgery please go head and reach out to get in for next year.

If you like to plan ahead for grooming and stay on a schedule we have several pets that have already booked all of next year so they are ready for the Summer heat, so feel free to jump on board with them and schedule ahead.

Grooming is looking to stay a consistent 8 weeks out but the upcoming holiday weeks are almost booked if you want to get in the week of OR before Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Boarding is also for more than just vacations. Fall wedding season is upon us and we are FULL this weekend for boarding Sept. 19th - 21st and almost full for next weekend.

We have no open grooming till the first week of November 🎃

Please schedule early for holiday grooming & boarding 🦃🎄🎉 we ARE scheduling for 2026 (Ashley will be on Vacation the week of Jan. 12th, so no grooming)

This handsome talkative boy is located with his owner between Washington - Kalona and is looking for a new home

His black labrador companion recently passed away and as much as his older owner doesn't want to, has decided it is best to try and rehome this possible Husky/Labrador mix.

Used to being indoor/outdoor and is neutered BUT not current on shots. Owners have had him for 4 years and estimate him to be around 6 years old.

Has not been around cats (so we have no idea how he would do with them) but does fine with small dogs.

They said he also does well with kids. Please send me a message for their phone number to talk with them to schedule a meet and greet at their residence.

Vera is looking for a quiet home to peacefully couch snooze and play with her laser toy.

Over the last couple years she has been a favorite with the Washington 5th graders as they come for the annual tour but over the past several months her two naughty 4 year old kitty house mates treat her more like a younger sibling than the respectful older lady she is and it's not fair to her.

•Vera has current shots, spayed, microchipped
•Roughly 8 - 10 years old
•Indoor ONLY & current on flea/tick treatment
•Prefers to come to you to be petted and has extra toes 🥰 *polydactyl*
•trial run allowed (if it does not work we want her returned to us)

She never starts anything and would do fine with other cats. Her current siblings trying to WWE wrestle her as she runs across the living room has become the new favorite game of the young ones (yes a spray bottle stops this but only when we are home)

Please message if you would like to meet her. She has been around dogs and would ignore them. Doesn't mind kids but would prefer to go to them to play or for pets.

Not only did Ella get homecoming Queen this past fall for WACO but Morgan received Henry County 4H Fair Queen!!

So excited for what these girls accomplish in school, at work and everything extra 🩷
