You can’t miss the happiness on Dash’s face in this video!
What you need to know is that Dash was one of the 30 dogs seized in a horrific hoarding case in November! She spent months at the shelter terrified of people! She has been with 2nd Chance since February & we believe she is ready for a quiet & loving home!
More information on Dash is coming, but in the meantime time please re-watch this video and be the thankful for this dog’s 2nd Chance to just be a dog, safe, loved and playing in the mud!

This is Davey! He is ready for a home!
Davey is smart & loving. He loves to play ball, and is great at entertaining himself. We are pretty sure he is part Jack Russel, and the perfect home for him is someone who is an experienced dog owner & can be firm but loving with our boy!

Simba is approximately 2 years old. He loves everyone! He plays very well with other dogs and is ok with cats.

Meet Dash!

Dash is our biggest challenge yet. She was one of the many dogs taken in a horrific neglect and hoarding case in November. She is terrified of people! Absolutely terrified!

Dash has been with us about 2 weeks and she is making huge progress. Her handler is very calm and quiet & she gets 24 hr a day love and security. She is learning to trust and making huge progress.

Dash is approximately a year or so old and she went on her first real walk the other day where she relaxed enough to start sniffing and showing normal dog behavior.

Dessin Animal Shelter does so much for our community pets and our program is so thankful to be able to help them, especially with unique dogs like this sweet girl.

Something pretty spectacular happened last week, Oscar was adopted!!!!!

This sweet boy now has two sisters and a loving family, with a comfy couch and lots of treats!
