It was a fun week of vacation pet care! We took care of two small dogs in our home as well as visited our feline friends daily while their owners were out of town ❤️🐾

July was a super busy month of pet sitting and dog walking! Had some very wet days where we all got soggy and had some very humid days and not much in between but all in all it was a very fun month!

Boarding these two little cuties right now. They are having the best time. Lots of cuddles and kisses. Some things that are toxic to dogs according to vet techs.

A few things that are toxic to dogs! Be sure to do research before giving your dog new foods and contact your veterinarian if they get into something they shouldn’t have.

Look for signs of poisoning in your dog such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness. If you suspect poisoning or you know what plant your dog ate take a picture of the plant to show your vet. It helps with the treatment and outcome.

Had the pleasure of boarding these two cuties recently. We treated them like members of our family. They got lots of attention and cuddles. Played lots of fetch and when they want to rest they can pick their spot be it crate, dog bed or couch. I do still have a couple more spots open for boarding this summer. Thirsty Thursday with this crew today. 91 degrees and the tongues were out. I looked for the shade to keep them as cool as possible. Made sure they drank water before I left them. Just a taste of what summer will be like walking dogs. Good thing I love the heat, dogs, exercise and being outside!

Prancing Paws offers Dog Boarding in my home for small breeds. When your dog is here, they are the only boarded dog so they get lots of one on one attention. They are treated like a member of the family and play with my two small dogs. You will get pictures and texts with updates several times a day! Many weeks already booked for July, August and September so please call me today for a meet and greet in my home.
