Teach them young to open your gates!! 🤣
My big love Maverick had seedy toe, crazy thin soles, a prolapsed frog and upon X Ray showed some bone changes indicating the start of possible ringbone from being on the track, aaaand ran into a tree messing his eye up pretty badly. He was in a LOT of pain and losing weight because of it, so my amazing vet came out and with the farrier we tried composite shoes, a new diet, and lots of eye drops, cream and masks (yes he is a high maintenance diva). 8 weeks later with his second set of shoes, completely clear eye, and about 200lbs, he is a different horse!!! He is back to streaking across the pasture tail up, and fell asleep getting his feet done. So happy to have him happy healthy and living his best life, with such an awesome team behind him.
