ANGEL TREE 👼 🎄

Our dogs would love your help finding a Home for the Howlidays, and we know not everybody is in a position to foster or adopt, so we came up with an Angel Tree for our pups!

We invite you to choose a dog you would like to sponsor, and bring any items you would like to send home with the new adopter to the shelter. A collar, leash, toy, or bag of treats are all great ideas!

We also encourage you to come down and meet your sponsored dog! Take him/her for a walk, get to know their personality and take some pictures to post to your social media so they can get the most attention for a better chance of finding a home in time for the holidays!

Feel free to come down to the shelter and choose a Doggy ornament from our tree in person, or reach out via email and we would be happy to help you select a pup to sponsor!

Our goal is to get every pup a HOME FOR THE HOWLIDAYS! And remember… we have WAIVED all adoption fees for our pets this month.

Literally about 1-5th of the donations I’ve picked up so far for the shelters big silent auction Sunday at northside remedy! So many more to come.
A freshie/tumbler and more basket from Beka trading post, Tickets for tcu football, rev180 membership and personal training, and incredible one year package of massage from Flora massage, more treats, horse and dog products, a gorgeous wind chime from Dillards feed and more!

Educate yourself and your kids about bees ❤️🐝

Post from a local Beekeeper 🐝
“Its late, and maybe in the morning I'll delete this post, but I've just got home and for now I need to write this down.

Earlier this evening I received a message from a home owner to say they had a swarm of bees in their hedge, but they were worried about them because children had been throwing water at them.

By the time my fellow beekeeper and I arrived, what had been a beautiful prime swarm was reduced to a few hundred drenched bees, huddling limply around their queen.

I've already deleted the photos of the puddles of water, the dripping wet hedge, and the many, many dead and dying bees that hadn't been able to escape the attack; sharing those pictures serves no purpose.

We gently placed the bees that had survived into a collection box, and hopefully tomorrow, when they've had chance to dry out and settle, we'll check on them and if necessary feed them; they'll be exhausted and possibly (understandably) defensive. They've been through a lot.

Please, please, help me to educate your children, your grandchildren, your neices and nephews, your neighbours, your colleagues and your friends that a swarm of bees isn't dangerous - they're amazing creatures that are just looking for a new home.

Please don't let anyone harm them. Just call a beekeeper who will gladly rehome them.

Please help me to spread this message and hopefully save any more bees from being unnecessarily harmed” 😢

I’m having a blast taking care of your babies! Thank you for the pet sitting calls/jobs and trusting me for daily dog walking while you’re at work.
Currently I have dogs that I let out or walk daily in Peaster and Poolville.
I’d love to stay in these areas for the most part but I will come into Weatherford as well.
