Freddy was owned by an old man who loved him and took very good care of him until he couldn't. His new owners are totally on board with getting him back where he needs to be.

Freddy... Well, lets just say the photo quality is a little blurry because he's a big time kicker in a tiny donkey body. He's on a strict trimming schedule to get his hind feet right.

Always a good day at Double D Animal Rescue and Community Services . Ringo was taken in due to neglect and got his feet done today. They do a lot of great work for the animals and find them loving homes. Now this sweet little fellow can run and live more comfortably.

A sad reminder to look at your donkeys, horses, ponies, goats and other hoofed animals regularly.

Neglected and pretty wild jenny. Vet prescribed antibiotics, daily cleaning of both affected feet, and therapeutic trimming/shoeing every 4 weeks.

Will have updated posts of this case in the future.

All this can be avoided with regular hoofcare.
