Meet Cheeto!!!

Cheeto is a Blue Heeler mix, 15 months old, and weighs 70.5 lbs. He is a very loving guy, and he doesn’t know a stranger! He’s house broken, loves his kennel and is a good listener. He’s a great companion. Cheeto has just completed a 2 month board and train and has honed his skills to make him an even better canine citizen!

Cheeto is not destructive and only plays with his toys. He loves playing in the backyard and he hasn't shown any signs of wanting to escape. Cheeto is very sweet and wants to be a good boy. Foster mom can leave him free in the house for at least a couple of hours, he is completely housebroken, and likes his crate (if left open and he'll go in to lie down on his own). He loves other dogs and wants to be around them and play .
Foster mom reports he is a quick learner and wants to please.
No cats.

Cheeto is current on vaccinations, is neutered, heartworm negative, and has a microchip.

It's not a fun thing to talk about, but heartworm awareness is very important. We all hate mosquitoes (they suck!) but one bite can do some serious harm to our pets. Thankfully prevention is easy 🐶🐱

Our chickens have a beautiful clean coop yet two of them choose to lay in the dog hut on the porch. I woke up Nellie the dog and startled Opal the chicken (note the egg) 😃 to take this pic but they were just snuggled up on a cool rainy day yesterday keepin that egg warm. Bad lighting unfortunately.

Announcing our February Adoption Special!!!

$14 adoptions for ALL our cats and dogs no matter if they’re big or small, young or old. All of our dogs and cats will still come already spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
February is the month of love. This includes love for others and self-love! Here are some benefits to owning a pet.

As co-owner of Shep's, SALT Seafood & Steak House, and Peachy Pet Boutique with her husband John Shepherd, Jenn's entrepreneurial spirit knows no bounds. 🙌🏼 But her success doesn't end there - managing multiple successful establishments AND balancing a family life with five cute kiddos, a daughter-in-law and mischievous grandson? That takes some serious talent. 😍
