Jake Hanson finished the day with a bang marking a 226 riding Hiss N Vinegar, owned by Jeff and Jennifer Foland, taking home the 2019 Brazos Bash Classic Limited Open Championship! Reserve Champion was Rodrigo Taboga once again marking a 222 riding Rocky Mountain Blues, owned by Selena Barbosa. It was a great day of finals here at the Brazos Bash, thank you to Justin Insurance for helping us everyone updated through the day!

We finished the 1st go of the Open Derby yesterday with a bang! Jake and the family owner mare Haldou Do, threw down an amazing 221! We’re so proud of them!
Both Phil and Jake have 2 horses going into the 2nd go today!
Phil starts us off in set 2 with Lets Go Crazzy owned by Jerry & Vickie Durant.
Set 7 - Phil & Sweet Lil Prime Time owned by Jerry & Vickie Durant.
Set 8 - Jake & Haldou Do owned by Hanson Revocable Trust. Rounding us our will be Jake & Katthryn owned by Jerry & Vickie Durant! 🌟

What an amazing opportunity to get to show in the open 4yr old finals with my dad. I am so thankful to the two trainers that gave up their buckles for Cody and I. Good luck to everyone showing in the non-pro and amateur.

Thanks to the generosity from some of the Top 10 NCHA Open Super Stakes Finalists we were honored to present Cody Green and Jake Hanson their very first NCHA Chad Gist Open Super Stakes Finals Buckles! Jake finished 11th aboard Haldou Do owned by the Hanson Revocable Trust and Cody Finished 14th aboard Khaleesi Kat owned by Kathleen Moore. The other trainers wanted to make sure these guys had some hardware to remember this by and graciously gave up a couple of their own.

Praying for Trey's family during this difficult time! What an incredible man gone too soon!

Our cutting family grieves today as we learned of Trey's passing. Trey Hunt will always be remembered as one of the greatest examples of a Father, a Son and a Husband that a family could ask for. He will always be a role model to those that knew him and what he stood for. We ask you join us as we bow our heads and lift up his family during this difficult time! God bless the Hunt family.
