We would like to finally give a big Warm Welcome to the pack, Little Rizzy! And a big thank you to our friends with Rough Riders MC and Shannon Brennan for stepping up for this girl!

We are a small nonprofit organization, we have applied for our 501c3 and are waiting for approval! But the care and support of these dogs is out of pocket….

Now we need some help raising funds to get Rizzy treated for yeast infection and irritation in her paws and skin, some allergy testing and medication, getting her vaccines UTD and booking her spay!

Due to some urgent situations, we are expecting two new rescues in the coming couple of weeks: Pickles, a loving boy with a traumatic past and an amazing mom who’s been working with him since she rescued him, and a sweet wild little girl who has unfortunately been abandoned and has been cared for by some incredible people with a heart of gold! Along with our emergency kitty residents that will be ready for adoption soon. Although we are excited to work with these babies, we are also very short on volunteers and funds at the moment.

As a nonprofit organization (waiting on our 501(c)3 status!!!) all of our rescue efforts and needs, including veterinary costs, food and other supplies are coming out of our pockets or from donations from some amazing donors and animal lovers.

To give you all an idea- it takes roughly 50-60lbs of food a month to feed one of our big dogs. Our veterinary exams with testing and blood work as needed are between $90 and $300 dollars for each animal. As we assist with kitten season, taking care of a momma and her litter until she weans her babies and can be spayed and vetted takes up to 5 weeks and costs between $60 and $120 and that’s not including each kittens vet care either.

So as of this time, our permit for the event this month still has not been issued. Which means we will have to reapply 60 days before and once again reschedule. I apologize everyone, this is very frustrating but we will make it happen.

Still waiting on word back about the permit issue at Zephyr Park, for now I’m going to call it and delay the walk once more. So sorry everyone. This has been a wild ride. But we won’t let that stop us from getting this thing rolling.
