We all hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving with your families and loved ones! Final reminder: Tomorrow is our Small Business Caturday event!

Come join us at the Community Cat Connection tomorrow, Saturday, November 29th for our 2nd Annual Shop Small Business Caturday from 10:00 to 2:00!

Our elves (volunteers) have been busy, lovingly creating and donating unique craft items, purr-fect gifts for all of the cat lovers on your Christmas gift list. All proceeds will go towards caring for our kitty shelter residents. There will be a drop-off bin if you’d like to bring in kitty treats or toys for the cats.

So come shop, meet the cats and enjoy a holiday treat and beverage!

Happy Forever Friday, and we hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! We have a great update about one of our recently adopted kitties, Apple! Apple and his siblings came to us through our Spay A Mom program and spent some time in foster. They were socialized wonderfully and all turned out to be loving, sweet kitties. Apple was then adopted by one of our lovely volunteers! Read below for a nice update on this sweet baby:

“Update on Teddy Smore Bucks (Formerly Known as Apple) and His Sister Fluffinutter:
Teddy Smorebucks—once known as Apple—is settling beautifully into his forever home, and one of the sweetest parts of his new life is the incredible bond he’s formed with his sister, Fluffinutter.

From day one, the two of them clicked like they’d been waiting their whole lives to reunite. Whether they’re curled up together for synchronized naps, chasing each other around the house in joyful bursts of energy, or sharing quiet moments of gentle grooming, Teddy and Fluffinutter are truly inseparable. Their connection is the kind that melts hearts on sight.

Teddy absolutely adores his new home, but it’s clear that having Fluffinutter by his side is what makes it complete. She brings out his playful side, encourages his confidence, and provides comfort whenever he settles in for cuddles. Together, they’ve created their own little world of warmth, mischief, and love.
We’re thrilled to share that Teddy Smorebucks is flourishing—not just because of the comfort of his forever home, but because he gets to share it with his beloved sister. Their bond is as sweet as their marshmallowy names, and watching them grow together has been nothing short of magical.”

Happy Monday and happy almost-Thanksgiving! Reminder- we are closed this Thursday for open hours! Also a reminder- we have our Small Business Caturday event this Saturday from 10-2, come join us!!!

Lily, Willow, and Gemini are on deposit, and Crystal, Shadow, Zachary, Henny & Cookie, and Cannoli went home this past week! We also found a home for Kalah with one of our wonderful volunteers. We are so thankful for all your interest in helping her, and please keep us in mind for any future elderly cats!

We have some new kitties, including a pair of bonded siblings, Croissant and Bagel, their sister Hashbrown, and an adult boy named Patch. Hashbrown, Bagel and Croissant came to us as semi-feral kittens and spent a long time with my mother in foster care, getting friendly and sweet. Hashbrown is a mushbug, but Bagel and Croissant are a bit shy and not super comfortable being picked up and held. They like other cats as they were found at a farm where people were dumping cats and we helped them TNR the adults and took the kittens in and many have found new homes.

Patch was found as a stray but is very handsome, and very sweet. He has an unusually shaped face, he could even be an exotic breed! We don’t know a whole lot about him, since he was found as a stray.

Happy Forever Friday! I thought I had posted this before but it appears I did not! We got a lovely update of some of our kittens who found a wonderful home together, Abbey and King! They came to us as a litter of five with their mama Madonna, and were actually fostered by my mom! They were her first (but not last) foster group with the ccc, and they were one of the most beautiful litters we’ve had! They came as semi-feral kittens but it didn’t take long for them to decide that people aren’t so bad and they love attention. Please read below for their forever family’s update:

“Hi!! Just wanted to update you on our babies. Previously King and Abbey now Ollie and Leo.

It has been 2 months since we adopted them and they have been doing really well in their new home. Between naps, zoomies, and constant purring, they’ve officially taken over the place. They LOVE their cat tower that we purchased at the shelter and are often snuggling together on there. Our lives have been forever changed because of these 2🤍”

Update: she has found a home!!!

We are looking for a foster or a foster-to-adopt home for a kitty who was adopted from us several years ago, and is now needing to come back to us. Her owner passed away and the family cannot care for her. She is in good health but is 18 years old and we would love to see her in a home rather than at the shelter. She is a very sweet and loving long haired girl named Kalah. Please reach out if you would like to give this girl a home!

Happy Monday! Hope you’re all staying warm in these blustery cold days! This week we had several kitties go home, including Reggie, Winston, Moxie & Rocky, Speedy, Cheddar, and Grisaille! Crystal is headed home soon, as well as Henny & Cookie, and Zachary! We have lots of kitties getting fixed this week so expect many more new faces next week.

Precious, our gorgeous special needs girl is now finally cleared for adoption and looking for a forever home! She has diabetes but takes her insulin twice a day with no problem. She would do wonderfully with a diabetes-savvy home so they can keep an eye on possible changes in her health. She has been through a lot and deserves the best home!

Reminder, we have our Declutter for a Cause fundraiser going on until December 11th, with drop-off days and accepted items listed on the flyer. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

Come down to see all our adoptable kitties and maybe you’ll find your new best friend! Open hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 4-7 and Saturday 10-1, no appointment necessary.
