Our beautiful boy Pilot crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on May 6th, 2023.
He was our dog made of Firsts.
First “Purebred” puppy, first show Champion and Grand Champion. First dog to take us to the Futurity and on to Westminster a year later. First dog we showed at the Brittany Nationals. So many glorious things Pi showed us!
We did tons of things we had never done because of Pilot.
We miss that he’s not here every morning to follow Scott & I into the closet and sniff our pants & see if it’s a hunting day.
We miss him sitting on his butt and handing you both of his paws to be held.
We miss his pokes to get us moving, let him out or just “pet me please”.
We miss his beautiful “I love you” eyes the most.
My hope is that he’s hunting in big beautiful fields with lots of tasty pheasants right now because that’s what he loved and lived for the most.
We’ll see you on the other side Pi! It’ll be a joyful reunion when we get there! 💜

HooMom Here- We started Pi’s new course of medicines last week. We are absolutely amazed how fast they have started to work! The golf ball sized granular mass is now the size of a quarter and probably only ¼” tall. The medicines are working!

HooMomma & HooDad have been dragging me all over to many Pokey places. The white coats say I’s got a weird disease in my skin that I’d neber heard of. It makes me gets big bumps and they is not very good! We finks we finally figured out how to treats these, (I’s already had 2 surgeries to take some off.) HooMomma says I gonna get some new medicines starting today to try to shrink the big one on my neck. I don’t weely likes medicines, but she says I gets lots of peanut butters to take them, so maybe it’ll be ok. Would you please send some prayers for us, (especially my HooMomma cuz she gets da leaky eyes) that dis medicines works?

Me & my Dad & my Mom & a nice man named Eric wents hunting da big fat pheasants yesterday. (my brudder Havy came too!) I found 5 of them, and then my brudder Havy had a turn. I was not very happy to stay behind for his turn, but Mom says I have to share. Weeze takes lots of pitchers of ours birds we got, and that made me very tired. so Ize took a nap. The end! Pi

Hi everypawdy! My Momma dragged me a long ways away yesterday with Havy & Click to get groobed! I had to get a bafie the night before too! Sos, we all getted groobed up all pretty & we get home & MeanieHooDaddyPooFace says, “Where did dis dog come from? I don’t recognize him!” Well, I asks you all, what’s up with that bull chips? My own Hoos don’t recognize me!!!
Momma says I look bootiful!!!! Thanks Nancy!!!

I've haven't talked to you guys in quite a while. Weeze been doin nuttin because of the corolla virus. Hoomom says weeeze gotta stay healthy because some day we'll be ables to go do stuff agains. So, weeze are pretty much hangin at home except when the Hoos takes us to the fields to run around. There's too much snow on the ground for birds, i guess theze get too cold when there's snow, so no hunting either! P**p! My brudder & sister are doing goods too, weeze just be bored! Well, you all beeze careful and stay healthy! Over and out! Pilot
