Knowing when to do blood work for your pet can be confusing. You want to ensure your pet is as healthy as possible, but at the same time, you may be wondering if spending money on testing is worth the cost.
In addition to vaccinations and annual physicals, dogs & cats also need comprehensive blood tests. The value of getting your pet's blood tested is assurance your pet is healthy. With blood work, our veterinarians will be able to evaluate your pet’s overall health down to the microscopic detail. While physicals can help determine if your pet is outwardly healthy, blood tests will reveal any hidden abnormalities before they become life-threatening in the future. Sincere Thanks & Great News!

As many of you may have heard, Dr. Stocker experienced an unexpected illness while on vacation last week requiring major abdominal surgery. We are beyond thrilled to let you know that he is back home after 9 days in the hospital and on track to a full and speedy recovery and he is very anxious to return to work. As Dr. Stocker has said many times, “ he wishes he was as tough as some of his patients.”
Over the last couple of weeks, we have passed along every message of support and concern to Dr Stocker, and he wants you to know that he is so grateful and overwhelmed by the tremendous outpouring of support and well wishes.
For clients that have requested appointments, surgical consultations, as well as clients that we have had to reschedule with Dr Stocker specifically, we ask for your patience as we work him back into the schedule and try to catch up. Although he is improving every day, we are on a day-to-day basis for determining the exact date that he will be returning to work. Our staff will be reaching out to re-
schedule appointments as needed and Dr. Stocker will be available for communication with staff should you have any questions or concerns that need addressed before his return. Finally, Dr. Stocker would like to convey his sincere thanks to his colleagues, Dr. Marin-Morales, Dr. Tieslink, the veterinary technicians and support staff that provided support during this challenging time and he is looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
