What a lovely testimony from sweet Ginger’s moms from our GCH Owen x CH Rita litter. She had previously only purchased littermates together and after explaining littermate syndrome she realized why it was important to not only purchase from an ethical breeder but why you should let one puppy grow up before adding another.

Morgan was screaming with excitement that she got mail! She earned this a week before she turned 6 months old. Lots of high entries in the few 4-6 months puppy she was entered in. Can’t wait to let this sassy girl grow up and see what she can do.

Luke has found his perfect home.

I have a beautiful red male available to a companion home. He is 14 weeks currently and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. He has such a personality and loves the other dogs. No person is a stranger to him. He loves short walks, all the toys and giving endless kisses.

Crate training is the best first step you can make. That is why our puppies leave us with the foundation of sleeping comfortably through the night in their crate, but it’s something that must be kept up at home to ensure longtime success.

** We have recently had an influx of clients not wanting to crate their dog because they think it’s “cruel”. 🙄**
⚡️⚡️Crate Training!⚡️⚡️
Crate training has to be one of the most valuable skills our dogs can have! 🐾
Before we go any further, let’s get one thing straight – crate training your dog is not cruel, inhumane, or mean.
Often times we as humans relate a crate to “jail” or feel sorry for a dog that is in a crate, it’s important to remember that we’re training through the dog’s perspective not our own.😊
There are several beneficial reasons to crate training your puppy or dog. At some point in your dog’s life, they are going to be in a crate.
Whether it be at the groomer, at the vet’s office, boarding, in a car, or anywhere else, it is going to happen.
Preparing them for these situations is important. Not crate training your dog is doing them a disservice. It can cause stress, anxiety, and is extremely difficult on some dogs when they finally need to be put in a crate.
Here are some other important reasons why crate training is so important.
* It’s a tremendous aid in potty training your puppy or dog.
* It makes traveling with your dog much easier as they have a familiar reference point wherever they go.
* It’s an important aid to creating structure in your dog’s life
* It helps your dog to mentally relax
* It gives your dog a place of their own to go and get some peace and quiet, especially in times of chaos
* Proper crate training can help reduce anxiety when leaving your dog home alone.
* It helps prevent unwanted behaviors when you are not home. (Destructiveness, garbage diving, getting into dangerous items,etc)
Although it may be emotionally hard for some of us, immediately begin crate training your dog from the second he or she sets foot in your home.
Frequently dogs go into their crate on their own for “down time” or just to relax.
**Always crate your dog *naked* (no collar)**

So appreciative of Dr Salvo Acuvetdoc for always being patient with me and taking great care of our pups, from sick visits to reproductive services to chiropractic adjustments that keep them feeling their best.
Our oldest and youngest little ladies needed a visit yesterday.

Morgan is a rockstar and is learning how to be a patient puppy, now can’t wait for our first Bpup!
