Made from soft leather, this 5 Point breastplate has stainless steel buckles, an adjustable running martingale attachment and sheepskin shoulder pads as well as elastic inserts. The top strap fastens with a trigger clip while the lower strap has a loop for the girth strap. Whilst securing your saddle in place, the elastic and sheepskin pads offer the horse comfort as the pressure is spread over a larger surface area.

Some horses have interesting builds and need specialized tack. For example, horses with pronounced withers or weak toplines will need a thicker saddle pad with extra support. These areas can become sensitive if harsh pressure is applied from ill-fitting equipment. On the opposite end, if a horse has a mutton wither, it would be best to find a thinner saddle pad to prevent the saddle from slipping or rolling.
