While our Dane is off getting neutered, our Danish Georgia is here waiting. 🍑

I feel like this marathon is more like a crawl to the finish line, but hopefully we're nearing the end.

We're hoping to find Georgia an amazing home. She is the absolute sweetest girl. Friendly, playful. Gentle. A lot of the qualities of a Dane, she loves to lean. She'd enjoy another playful pup, but doesn't require that. We hope her next vet visit is her last and she can start a new life!

🖤 With no inquiries or interest in our "easy" dogs like Maxine and Melody, we can't help but wonder what's in store for Eve. :(

Eve is not "perfect". She's probably never lived inside a house. She's not housebroken, but will go outside and is doing better. She takes a little bit to warm up. She's done good meeting people outside the home, but not so good when they come in. She's jumpy. She pulls hard when walking on a leash. She's good with the other dogs, but she is a little pushy and socially awkward. She wants to play, but doesn't know how. She needs the extra and will probably always need a little work. And we know how that goes..

Who's going to want her? Who's going to see beyond all that and want to be her person. Her family. Once Eve trusts you, it's with her whole heart. You become her world.

Eve will need a home. She can't join the ranks of Nellie and Bea. She can't wait forever. Eve will be spayed next Friday and she won't have any more medical. We will begin our search for a forever home that is willing to help Eve become everything we know she can be.

But by the looks of things, we might be disappointed. Eve needed us. Now she needs a family

This is a LTTR first…not one we’re feeling happy about though.

Melody is the first puppy we have ever had with us long enough to receive ALL her puppy vaccines 😞

As you can see she’s growing up in rescue.

Melody is a healthy, happy puppy who deserves her own family. We can’t help but think she’s being passed over because she only has vision in one eye 💔

We hope one day soon someone will think she’s special just the way we do and make her part of their family.

What about Melody?
She’s been here with us for 11 weeks. She’s growing bigger by the day. She hasn’t had an inquiry in weeks 😞

Melody is now 20 weeks old and weighs 21lbs. Shes a happy, playful puppy. She’d love a home with kids or dogs to play with.

She’s fully vetted, crate trained and working on potty training.

Requirements;
*Schedule that allows continuing of potty training
*Own a home in a neighborhood without breed restrictions

Shelby has really blossomed here. She’s very sweet & affectionate. Shes playful & silly. She loves all her doggy foster siblings.

Somehow she’s still here in need of her own family.

She starts off shy with new people but can easily be won over with treats.

Shelby is fully vetted and does well on a potty schedule of every 3 hours during the day. She is afraid of all lawn equipment so we are requiring a fenced yard for her safety. Kids will need to be age 10+.

❓️Guess who was a really good girl at the vet ❓️

EVE that's who!! If you go slow and have treats on hand, this girl just melts into a puddle. The muzzle was just precautionary but she was so great today!

Eve got her own punch on our never ending cytopoint card, to help with her skin issues. We are starting Eve on Fluoxetine (same as Nellie) to help balance her out mentally.

Eve needs to gain a little weight, but is in overall good health! She will be spayed in the upcoming weeks and we hope to begin our search for her forever home. We're hoping someone out there will understand Eve and what she'll need 🤞

We want to say thank you to the ladies of GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club
for holding the dog days of summer bunco event yesterday. Everything was beautiful & looked like a lot of fun. Many thanks to all the participants as well. The proceeds will be going to us and a local cat rescue and we are grateful.

If any of you women here in Pasco are looking to volunteer this group is the best. We very much appreciate their hard work and dedication to helping our community.

This vintage lady is approx 15 years old and weighs 6lbs. We believe she is some type of terrier mix.

Lottie is spayed, microchipped & UTD on vaccinations. She has NO medical conditions; heart, kidneys & liver are all good. She takes pain meds for her bad knees and requires daily over the counter lubricating drops for her dry eyes. She was recently shaved down due to matted fur but once it grows in fully will be long & silky & will require grooming.

Lottie is dog friendly & would do fine with cats. She enjoys cozy blankets, chewing bones & begging.

Requirements to adopt Lottie:
-Fairly calm home
-No kids under the age of 13 living in the home

🌸 Adoption Pupdate 🌸

Jasmine is currently on her 2nd annual vacation to Myrtle Beach with her parents. She is having a great time and is still quite the daddy's girl. Jasmine's parents are still over the moon in love with her. They cherish her every single day.

When her parents lost their beloved Bear, they came straight for Jason. They knew they had too much love to not give another an amazing home. Jasmine waited for almost 2 years and look at this beautiful life she has 💖

We need more Royce and Kathy's!

Today was an interesting challenge for Eve. The TV 🤷‍♀️. Which is always on when I'm home. Not sure what she found so concerning today, but we tried several different shows and she was having none of it.

Overall, Eve has made great strides but we'll have some things like this that will pop up....

💙 Adoption Pupdate 💙 Both Delaney and Miley, now Delores, were adopted by my sister. I spent some time there today during my annual sister get together. Delores is quite the swimmer and loves chasing the ball and keeping up with the kids in the pool. Tongue out of course. Delaney loves to spend her time eating blueberries 🫐 and holding down the floor. It's not a bad life that's for sure. See you next August ladies!!

❤️‍🩹Lottie❤️‍🩹 Off to the vet we went this morning. This is how it went… Eyes-infected and severely dry 😢 Upper respiratory infection 😢 Ears-infected 😢 Skin-extremely itchy from fleas 😢 Heart ❤️ sounds good! 👍🏻 Hind legs-bilateral luxated patellas 😢 Lottie had a Cytopoint injection today and bloodwork. All her ailments are now being treated.
