Pinky was adopted from Palm Beach Animal Services when she was just 2 years old, she’s now 13.
Both of her patellas are luxated and that’s why she walks that way. She is on pain medication and gets around just fine. She has no lower jaw and so her mouth is always open and tongue hangs out. She has adapted to this and manages to eat all her wet food.
Pinky will see our vet next Friday for bloodwork and once we have the results we’ll be getting right to work finding her a retirement home 🏠

3 years ago today she moved into her retirement home. She came to us after having been hit by a car & left for dead on the side of the road. She had to have her eye removed as a result to the trauma to her face but luckily had no broken bones.

Sadie Sue was chewing and scratching herself so raw and was actually making herself bleed. :(
Today I found a surgery suit from long ago, slathered on some skin soother and it made for a much more comfortable day for Sadie Sue. We've ordered a couple more cute suits to keep her in style and tomorrow she will get some real relief at her vet appointment.

Cookie has been with us 2 weeks already. She’s still a little skittish when approached quickly but has made a huge improvement in her short time here. She is very much like Shelby that we had with us a few months ago, almost identical actually.
Cookie gives tons of kisses, loves her doggy friends & toys & she sleeps snuggled up against me every night.
On Tuesday she’ll be seeing our vet for an exam, booster vaccine & fecal to be sure she’s rid of hookworms.
We’re going to give her a bit more time before we begin our search for the perfect home for her.

Tomorrow is the big day ❤️🩹
Georgie is exhausted, his sleep is constantly interrupted because he cannot breathe.
We are anxious to get this surgery over with and see him be able to breathe well, sleep soundly & keep his food down.
Billy Bob has now leveled up to begging 😂
I guess if there's not going to be any cookie making, a good rain storm will do 🌧
