Are you wanting to grow your own food and/or flowers but just don’t have the space/resources/know how/etc? We’re offering to help! We’re planning to “open” a few beds for those who want to grow their own food and flowers! We’ll provide the bed space (roughly 3x40 ft/approximately 120sqft of growing space), we’ll water, fertilize, assist you in preventing and/or treating pests (all organically of course!), offer answers to questions you may have, guide you through the season, and even provide you with some seedlings! You will plant, w**d, maintain (stake/prune,etc) and harvest all the food/flowers you grow. We’ll even offer classes on how to prepare and preserve the food you harvest! This is only going to be offered to a handful of people for next season and it will be at a one time (first season) introductory price! Are you finally ready to stop being dependent on the grocery store? Are you finally ready to learn and grow your own food? Are you finally ready to start being self sustainable?

A bowl of beautiful shredded colors! We have carrots, beets, zucchini and apple that all went in to a new recipe I developed called Morning Garden muffins! Fragrant, delicious and gorgeous lavender bunches are coming to the market tomorrow along with our herbs (basil, rosemary, sage, dill and oregano), edible flowers (mixed packs and limited squash blossoms and gladiolus blooms). We’ll of course have our bouquets, limited zucchini, yellow squash and a very limited amount of our sought after cucumbers (as the season has just begun!)

Vegetables are growing quickly now! Unfortunately, we’ve lost some from all the rain (lower area), some plants are stressed from these drastic weather fluctuations and the dreaded vine borer swooped in before I could spray the clay again and took out one of our beautiful zucchini plants 😞. THIS is reality, not picture perfect images, AI generated garbage, “fake” garden views where everything and everyone looks like all these plants grow themselves and a w**d wouldn’t dare grow in a bed while what’s not shown is the chaos in the background. Nope, I will show and tell you about the chaos! Weeds outnumbering plants 100 to 1 right now, soil so wet, w**ding takes twice as long, humidity that only allows you to work a little while without feeling like you’ve worked for days! Is it worth it? When you see fresh vegetables growing, fresh berries ripening, you pluck a fresh bean and know you can eat it on the spot without a single worry because you don’t spray chemicals anywhere…. YES! It is absolutely worth it!
