Hi to all my lovely clients. Or any new clients wanting a pet or house sitter within Saddlewood.
I only cover Saddlewood.
As from the 1st of November my prices will be more in keeping with inflation. I have kept my prices under the minimum wage for 6 years and unfortunately I cannot afford to do it any longer.
Money is based on over a year because it's not a full-time job it tends to be weekends and school breaks predominantly. I have to cover a 15 hour day. In the heat waves and in the freezing cold. Thunderstorms. Rain. Flooding. I can't go off sick. I get my clothing dirty or damaged. It's a lot of responsibility keeping animals safe and the home safe. Its so easy to get injuries in this job with all the excited fur babies. And the occasional aggressive off leash dogs. Dog walking can be very tiring and hard on the shoulders. Especially when the large dogs are constantly pulling.
For the past six years I have been charging under minimum wage, I can't afford to do that any longer. C19 eat through any hard earned saving.
It's either prices in keeping with other pet sitters or I will have to give it up. Most sitters either charge a lot more to be available for all year round. Or they only do the non peek times.
I still do last minute visits. And emergency visits. $15. Min. From the 1st. November.
I will still be taking care of the little things that matter. Post. Trash. Parcels etc. I shall still be the kind, caring, loving, trustworthy, honest. Respectful, reliable sitter.
I need more money to get up early. Get ready for work to be at a clients first thing on cold winters mornings. and dark cold evenings.
And 15-hours of mosquito bites . Grrrrr I should charge extra for bite creams and off sprays.
Prices and visits...
Visits. 1. Potty. Breakfast. Potty. Exercise fun and loving.
Visits 2. Their breakfast has now digested and they will need to go potty potty. So it's around 10am.
Visits 3. Is around 4 hours after visit 2.
Visit 4 is dinner time. Potty. Dinner. Potty. Fun. Loving. Attention.
Here's where you can pay for an extra visit for evening attention. (That I haven't been charging for until now)
Visits 5. Is the late last visit.
Calm attention. Potty. Adjust any lighting. Make sure everything is locked up. Put the babies to bed.
Peek periods my hours are 6.30am to 10.30pm.
Non peek. 7am, to 9.30/10 ish.
My contact times Please are not until 8am. Until 8pm. Unless you are texting me that you are leaving. Thank you.
My times and prices are flexible. I can't offer less but I can offer a personalized plan. If you want extra times extra visits we can talk. If you want a pamper package we can talk. If you want a overnight we can talk. If you want 24-hour cover we can talk. If you want a 24-hour week-long cover let's talk prices.

One to two Dogs (plus a cat etc)
V1 =$15
V2. $ 10
V3 $10
V4$15
V5$15.
Extra visits $10.
$65.00 for five visits per day.

Three to four pack of dogs (plus cat etc)
All visits $15.
Full day $ 75. Extra visit $10.
Four to five dogs (plus)
From $15 to $20 depending. But I'm sure we can come to an agreeable daily, weekend and weekly prices.
For the rare incidentals that could happen. namely. Needing cleaning up from a icky tummy. A bath. Sand flee bath and creams... Something that eats into my time. Please remember time is money. I do it out of love but please remember, I'm not a charity. I do except tips. :)

I am taking bookings for the holidays. Halloween. Thanksgiving. Again, tips would be very welcome. Or British chocolate. Lol (I have one client /neighbor that buys me my favorites, chocolate liqueurs. I loooove her. :) )
I love home baked goodies. :) In short, I'm like the doggies. I'll take a human treat bribe. Lol 😆 There's such a thing as pride but not when it comes to treats. Lol
