We are looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt for Mocha. Her dad’s health has declined significantly and her family having a difficult time. If someone is able to help out and take her in, it would be greatly appreciated.

Mocha (FKA Macha) is being returned to Wag N’ Purr through no fault of her own. Her current family is absolutely heartbroken, but have recently been battling some serious health issues making it very difficult to provide Mocha with the training consistency and exercise she needs to give her the fulfilled life she deserves. So, they’ve made the agonizing decision to rehome her to a family that can.

Mocha (1 yr, 52 lbs) is a sweet, smart Malinois mix (DNA test confirmed) looking for an active family! She’s friendly with everyone she meets and loves to play rough and tumble with other dogs. She turns into a snuggler though once she’s done zooming.
Due to her owner’s recent health decline, Mocha’s training has been put on the back burner and her manners have regressed a bit. She’s reverted back to jumping up when excited, pulling on her leash and having potty accidents in the house. However, she’s super food-motivated and eager to learn.
She would be a great match for hikers, runners, busy families with older kids or anyone interested in dog sports like agility or nose work.

Our girl Rae, just had her very first day at doggy daycare!

She absolutely loved it. She spent the day meeting the wonderful staff, soaking up sunshine, and getting comfortable in her new surroundings. She hasn’t met the other dogs just yet — that will come on her next visit — but this time she focused on bonding with the girls at daycare. And she was a hit!

Once she settled in, Rae greeted everyone with a happy, wagging tail and endless kisses. She adored all the attention and made it clear she’s a total lovebug.

She is 3 years old and weighs a petite 35 lbs. She is fully potty trained, crate trained, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Rae would thrive as an only pet in a home with adults or older children. She has so much love to give and is ready to share it with her very own family.

💔Sweet, snuggly R***r was adopted and returned in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS! How confusing that must be for this poor boy — especially since he did absolutely nothing wrong.

Like all dogs, R***r just needed a little time to settle in and learn to trust his new family. Sadly, he wasn’t given that chance. We always share information about the 3-3-3 rule with our adopters, but not everyone takes it to heart or they think they know better. (We’ll be posting a reminder soon!)

For now, let’s focus on finding R***r the forever home he truly deserves. ❤️

🐾 About R***r:
• Age: 9 months
• Weight: ~35 lbs
• Neutered and up to date on vaccines
• Dog, cat, kid, and even farm animal friendly!
• Potty trained and well-behaved when left alone
• Not crate trained (he prefers his freedom!) but could learn with patience
• Loves water! Swimming, splashing, and playing are his favorite things

R***r is a bit shy at first — especially around men, as he hasn’t had much exposure to them — but once he warms up, he’s all love. He’ll greet you with puppy kisses, a wiggly butt, and endless affection.

He’s a true velcro dog, happiest when he’s by your side, whether that’s snuggling on the couch or running through the fields. He even has good recall and can be trusted off-leash!

R***r is a loyal, gentle, goofy boy who just needs a family willing to give him time, patience, and love. He’s ready to return that love a hundredfold. ❤️
