Wag N' Purr Animal Rescue is a foster based domestic animal rescue.

Our Mission Statement
“We exist to rescue unwanted companion animals from abuse, sickness, neglect, homelessness and loneliness, and find them loving, forever homes. We rescue dogs and cats from hard lives on the streets and rescue animals from over crowded and high-kill shelters that are at risk of being euthanized due to lack of space or interest. The animals we take in will then be fully vetted

with vaccines, and be spayed/neutered, if needed. We will place them with a loving foster family until we are able to find them a happy, loving forever home. Our rescue is run solely on volunteers and donations from kindhearted animal advocates like you. We know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little kindness and compassion. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to serve animals who have been forgotten, abused or abandoned. Please like and share our page to raise awareness to the cause. Rescued with her 5 babies, Rae has shown nothing but love, strength, and resilience. Despite her rough start, this 3-year-old sweetheart radiates joy. She’s snuggly, loyal, and happiest by your side — whether on a run, playing fetch, or curling up for a nap.

Rae is potty & crate trained, great in the car, and even enjoys bath time. She’s working with a trainer to build confidence, and with the right family — adults or older teens — she’ll continue to blossom.

She’d prefer to be the only pet so she can soak up all your love. 💕

At long last, we have the results of Mercy’s Embark DNA test!🧬. Well, we’ve had the results for a little while, it just took a bit to figure out who our winners are. Our beautiful Mercy is made up of about 5 different breeds according to Embark. #1 - American Pit bull Terrier at 69.8% (no surprise there)

#2 - Supermutt at 19.9%. They broke down the supermutt into 3 breeds, but did not break down by percentage. For the sake of our contest, we’ll just divide the supermutt total by 3. The supermutt breeds are; American Bulldog, Boxer and German Shepherd.

Breed #3 - (get this) Pomeranian! 😲At 10.6%! I bet no one was expecting that!

There were only 3 people that guessed at least 2 correct breeds. Tied for second place is; Mary Miller and Kristin Kibler! 🥳🎉👏 You’ll both be getting a $20 gift card to Pet Supplies Plus!

✨ About R***r:
• Fully potty trained 🚽
• Loves water and swimming 💦
• Gets along great with other dogs and kids 🐕👧👦
• Does well off leash and loves adventures 🌲
• Super snuggly and loves to be with his people 🤗
• A little shy at first, but warms up quickly (especially if you bring treats!) 🍖

R***r would be the perfect adventure buddy for someone who loves the outdoors, but he’s just as happy cuddling on the couch after a fun day. 🐶💤
