My newest furry friends, Seaweed and Doug! I got to hang out with them for a week while their parents were away for Christmas 🎄They were the sweetest babies ❤️ Seaweed is a 19 year old diabetic so she needed insulin injections twice daily 🐱

I can now add a pony and goats to my list of animals I've pet sat for! 🥰 Currently watching 5 dogs, 7 goats, a pony, and a kitty for a client I met from working at Banfield. I love learning how to care for different species ❤️

Cymbaline, the first kitty I started FIP treatment on is deemed officially cured now! Such an amazing and special experience for me to be able to save his life by administering his daily injections. It wasn't always easy and it was a long road but I met his great parents through this and was able to save their kitty which was the best part of it all 🩷 To top it off, the treatment has now become legal and available in the US which is amazing news!

Oreo was a new kitty client last month! I loved her so much 🥰 she was super vocal and followed me around the entire time I was there each day for breakfast and dinner. She was very playful and gave me the hardest headbutts 😂

Pretty sure Penny would rather me NOT stop by to check on her when her parents are away 🤣 as you can see she keeps her distance and likes it that way. At least she didn't hiss at me this time 👍

I've been super busy this past month with everyone's fur babies 🥰

Daily injections for FIP kitty Cymbaline, coordinating treatment and injections/helping out with FIP kitty Frankie, meeting new clients, booking pets for the summer months, revisiting some of my furry friends that I didn't see over the winter, and working at Banfield ❤️

I appreciate all of you!

March 13 is the birthday of the United States K9 Corps. On this day, Dakin salutes and thanks Veteran Military Working Dogs for their years of dedication alongside soldiers. In recognition of service and remembrance of those lost in the line of duty, we thank you.

Frankie has been doing SO well since starting his injections. It's amazing how quickly the kitties turn around after just 1 or 2 doses, however he still has many injections left to go...minimum treatment is 84 days! Please consider helping out his mom with treatment costs by donating 💙 not only does she need the vials of medication, he also has other necessary medications and will need multiple rounds of bloodwork throughout his treatment!

Very excited to say that I administered Frankie's first injection last night! Only 83 more to go 😂 I've managed to band together a small group of awesome people that are willing to help out with his daily injections 🩷 Can't wait to get him feeling better!

For progress purposes: Frankie's last weight was 6.35lbs last Wednesday. He also has uveitis. I'm planning on taking some "before" pictures tonight so that we can compare at the end of his treatment journey 🐾
