Hairy and Lenyx! Hairy is such a gentle giant..Lenyx loves helping Grammy groom her. Hairy's favorite times are her spa day! She will seriously almost fall asleep while being brushed! Who would love to brush Hairy someday? Have you ever brushed a Scottish Highlander Cow? I never had until 2 years ago when she came to live here!

Maple Annie is Queen out in the Fallow deer Area...she has been a bit cranky with other deer lately...hmmmm I gave her extra apples and Graham Crackers for breakfast today..hoping to sweeten her up today.

Caribou vs Reindeer: What is the difference?
It's a DNA glitch that slightly changes their body structure and herd mentality. Caribou will fan out when fleeing, Reindeer stay herded up. Caribou are tall and leaner, Reindeer, short and stockier. Caribou are wild, Reindeer have been domestic before cats. Santa loves reindeer!

Yoo-hoo! Momma rocked the craft fair, selling a gazillion soaps and lotions and lipbalms etc! Big thanks to Poppa and Jeremy for setup and takedown duty. Many of you probably don't know that I also have another business! I have created and owned Nature's Touch for over 20 years! When I am not doing chores I am working in my soaproom! I will be at this craft fair this weekend. My products are available in our giftshop and I do mail order! I ship orders every week. Send me a PM if you need something. This family was here for our Reindeer Experience last weekend..she just sent me some pics. Those little boys absolutely loved David our naughty little male Fallow Deer. He is such a character. everyone loves David. To add to his list of naughty things he is now a pick pocket! YEP when the Graham Crackers are all gone he plays the crowd sniffing in pockets..and yes he will snag keys or anything else he can grab! WHO else loves David?

Baby goats headed into barn for the winter!We got a lot done yesterday..we were busy All day...we were exhausted by the end of the day. It is alot of work getting ready for the cold winter months! Remember those apples?? Family cider night! This is what I absolutely love!!Our kids and their kids! I love all the happy voices of these cousins!
