Just finished 30 days on this mare. 11 year old QH with 6 spots of Kissing spine. Owner was wanting to try a non-surgical approach and help her start using her body better.

My focus was to help her understand how to properly use and soften her body, not just kink her neck and carry herself in a false frame. We also really needed to get some weight off, can you tell she likes her food?

When asked to canter she would turn 90 degrees and just stop. While it is possible to interpret this as a behavioral problem, working through it I definitely felt there was a fear response buried there too. The anxiety sweats and stress responses would start as soon as I indicated I wanted a canter, and the amount of releases we got immediately after we got through the canter have not been nearly as intense by the end of the month. She still has a long way to go, but I'm very excited to see her continue to find herself. I will be continuing to maintain her over the next 30 days along with her owner riding and taking lessons. Owner education is just as important as the work I do on the horse in every training client.

This mare also receives regular bodywork and chiropractic. At the end of the 30 days she had a regular adjustment and the chiro remarked how much less sore and stiff she was in comparison to previous sessions.

3 months of progress!

Sharif came in for training in January, the first part of this video is from last summer. The last part is from a dressage clinic he attended with his owner Kasey. He is a smart little guy who has come a long way over these last few months. Sharif has been a pleasure to have in the barn and we wish him and Kasey the best of luck on the endurance trails and in the dressage ring this year!

Tonks - 22 mo. old grade palamino filly.

Currently stands 14.1 and wears a 69" blanket.

By a registered Morgan Stallion, out of a grade quarter horse mare. Stout, solid b***d horse with pretty movement. Strong healthy feet.

Ready to be started in any discipline. Ties, loads, lunges wtc. Has been ponied at all gaits inside and outside, picks up all feet beautifully. Has been hauled off-site multiple times and handled all sights well. Currently lives outside in a mixed herd.

Bold, curious, and in your pocket. Always comes to the gate. I have too many projects and she's always last on my list unfortunately. She has had weight on her, been saddled, lunged with tack, and ground drives. Has not yet been introduced to a bit, but will likely take that as easily as everything else.

Done all the basic work with tarps, dragging things, poles etc. and nothing phases her.

Nash came to us in November having struggled for a long time to recover from a soft tissue injury in his Back. Over the last 3.5 months we have put in a lot of rehab work, diet overhaul, and other therapies. He is thriving and I'm excited to be getting him fully under saddle so he and his momma can have a fun show season to look forward to!

Mac is a gorgeous thick 16h buckskin with a goofy gelding personality. He will meet you at the gate and loves to be groomed and loved on. Follows you at liberty.

Loads and travels well. Good for vet, bathing, etc.

Mac has a hitch in his left hind. Vets have been unable to find anything, but only recommend him for a non-performance lifestyle. X-rays on file, but really don't show anything significant. It is only noticeable when the farrier works on him. That being said, he is completely sound, and would be a great 4H project for a competent youth, or a fun addition to a family for trail riding.

Mac was started as a 3 year old but then had a few years off due to his owner getting busy. Just had a 30 day refresher and ready to be finished your way.

Can be a little difficult to take the bit, but isn't dumb about it.

Reese and Luna won 1st place in the 2'0 and 2'3 Jumpers with some speedy rounds while Carolyn and Kate were Reserve Champion in dressage in the Juniors Division!
