Happy 4th! This girl got out of the yard so Tressa to the rescue! I was able to chase her down a busy road and behind Home Depot where I was able to makeshift a leash into a collar and return her safely. 🦸‍♀️🐕

Where pets feel loved while you’re away!

For those who don’t not know me, my name is Tressa. I am the owner and operator behind Under Tonka’s Watch.
I have loved animals since I was a baby. My family had a golden retriever when I was little. Then when I became older we had fish, and hamsters growing up. 🐠 Of course in my late teens I got a dog and then a pet rabbit in my twenties. 🐇With whom I loved so very much. I can remember when I was little my grandparents had a cat and rabbits in the summer.
I decided to name this new adventure after my dog Tonka who is pictured with me on the page’s profile picture. He truly was one of the BEST purchases I ever made. He taught me how much work dogs truly are. And how much Love and Happiness a dog can bring into peoples lives. Tonka was a very special dog to not only me but my parents, my neighbors, and my grandma. He left a BIG hole for someone to fill in the future. Plus after he passed away a few years ago I decided to turn his first dog tag into a necklace that I can wear wherever I want. 🐶🩵
Now why did I decide it was time for me to start my own business with me having so much already going on. Well I miss being around animals. They bring me so much happiness and that unconditional love is something I can’t get enough of. Which is why I came up with the business slogan “where pets feel loved while you are away”. It’s true I will love them like they are my own while you are away. You can trust me that I not only will take the best care of your animals but also your home.
I also decided to include rabbits.🐇Since when I was in my twenties I bought a miniature Rex rabbit whom I named Titan. Who was jet black.Tonka and Titan loved being together. He taught me how to care for rabbits. He even became my roommate in my very first apartment where he had free range of my apartment when I was home. I never knew how much love and joy a rabbit could bring into someone’s life until it was the 2 of us. 🖤
A couple years ago I got to follow one of my longtime dreams of becoming a youth volleyball coach. I coach 12U volleyball for Red River Infinity Volleyball Club.Which has taught me a lot about my patience and hard work. But also to never give up on your Dreams! Dreams take time and effort to work out. 🏐💙

When I’m not working I’m normally getting stuff done at my apartment. When the weather is nice and it’s not so windy. I am outside walking, reading,and sunbathing. I also love to Shop which is an understatement! I love Country music so I love going to concerts and live music.🎻 I’m an avid sports fan. Especially Indianapolis Colts Fan 🏈 and Minnesota Twins.⚾️. And I have a weak spot for children and chocolate.

I am very close to my family and they will always be my number 1! Even if they live 2 and half to 3 hours away from me. Thank god for technology! So I try to travel home as much as I can. I even became a first time aunt to a little boy who is very special to me! 🩵

On Friday evening & most of Saturday I had the privilege of hanging out and letting these 2 doodles out while their family was busy with soccer. They were so very fun and sweet! ❤️⚽️

I already had my first ever pet sitting job! Where I watched 1 happy golden retriever and 2 cats. They were so sweet! 🧡

My main service is where I go into the pet owners home where the pets/animals feel the most comfortable and I not only take care of the pets but I also take care of the home.

Here is a list of the Services I am offering.

- I did include dog walking as well for $15 per visit. That would be in the evenings. I also took a dog walking class way back in college.

- Unfortunately I will not watch any type of reptile or bird or mice. No Exceptions. 🐍🦜
I would be open to watching a Hamster or Rabbit since I am familiar with them. 🐇

- Lastly unfortunately I do not mow lawns or clean cat litter boxes.
